Completed a service call for new homeowners having issues with their system. Their old thermostat went blank and they attempted to replace thermostat but there was no power to the thermostat. We found a popped 5amp fuse. Before this they said the system was working well so we replaced the fuse and cycled the system to check operations. System appears to be slightly overcharged and the blower was dirty. There’s no active flood protection and the dual capacitor is approaching failure. We spoke about a few of these things but he was just happy to have the ac back on. They declined Homecare today but thanked us for coming out to remedy the issue. The furnace is 6 years old and the AC was manufactured in 2014. System operational upon departure. Call complete.

We will Redevice the kitchen with all new switches and outlets. All outlets will be tamper resistant. We will also remove the 14 gauge wire in the box that shouldn’t be there.

Replaced all toilets in home with new Kohler memoirs toilets. Tested for leaks and function. No leaks. All flanges were appropriate height and no cracks.

I replaced the disposal with a new 3/4 hp disposal and repipe the kitchen drain line due to bad sewer smells and slow draining. I replaced the drain and installed with new p trap and Studor vent. Tested everything and checked for leaks.

Install drain line and wet switch water safeties for the upstairs and main floor systems. Cleaned both condenser coils, replaced dual capacitor for main floor AC. Toilet leaking from tank gasket. Performed whole toilet rebuild. Checked and tested for leaks. Found water heaters past life expectancy. Water heater showed signs of premature failing. Recommend replacement before water heaters start leaking.

Today we completed the following work in the den/ living room and at the panel. *In the living room off the den remove the single gang box and supply and install a new 2g box. *Wire in a new 14/3 switch leg from the box to the center of the dens high ceiling *Install a fan rated pancake box *On other wall in den remove the single gang box (dead end 3way) and supply and install a new 2g switch box. *Supply and install a Lutron Smart switch switch a wireless switch and bracket. *Supply and install new plates for each box. Possible dry wall cutting may occur due to framing or blocking. Install a Lifetime warranty surge protector inside the main panel Install tandems to create space in main panel for the surge. Remove the illegal tandem breaker inside the panel and supply and install a manufacturer approved type. We was not able to sync the Caseta switch today due to the fixture not being installed. Installed a new 10yr warranty gas water heater, with an Ion 6. Tested for Leaks. Homeowner is satisfied.

I came out today due to the homeowner having a new tankless water installed right at the entrance of the crawl space. He had the 240v tank removed and an extension cord running from a receptacle in the crawlspace to the tankless to supply it power. I removed and capped the circuit off inside the panel for the old water heater circuit. Inside the crawl space I supplied and installed a new junction box with plate, capped and secured the wires off. I came off the receptacle where the cord was extension cord was in and ran a new 12/2 wire from that location (front right ) all the way by the door. I installed a new box, receptacle and plate and plugged the tankless in and rolled up the cord for the homeowner. This circuit in the crawlspace space is GFCI protected and it is located just under the panel, a faceless device. I explained to the homeowner that if the green light is off then t hit the reset button. I tested everything and it’s all working.

2011 Carrier gas furnace & AC - Not cooling System has been freezing up due to low refrigerant levels. The system has multiple leaks in the evaporator coil. I performed an electronic leak search with the homeowner present and showed him how rusted the evaporator coil is. During this we were able to look down at the heat exchanger and see the hot spots, metal fatigue, and some rusted areas as well. The heat exchanger is compromised. The blower wheel is dirty and the blower motor has a small oil stain/puddle on the furnace bottom where is had been slowly leaking. Outside the compressor is over amping and the condenser fan motor is over amping and running very hot. The electromagnetic contactor is burnt and pitted, causing a chatter/buzzing sound. All issues relate back to the age of the equipment, 14 yr old, as well as this is the wrong equipment for zoning. Leak was coming from the pantry ceiling. I cut sheet rock and try to re-create the leak from the bathroom above and I could not. The homeowner says at one point her sink and her cabinet was full of water and later told her that that’s probably what it was because it was not an active leak. It just looked like whenever someone was running water, but in this case it looked like she accidentally dumped water between the holes of the waterlines for the sink, and went down into the pantry ceiling below.

Installed a new 10” rough, Kohler Highline Arc toilet in the main floor powder bathroom. New toilet was set in place with new wax seal, closet bolts and steel braided water supply line. All work completed was checked for leaks and proper functionality. Toilet was sealed to the flooring with clear, waterproof silicone. Technician advised customer not to apply weight to the new toilet for 4-6 hours. Walk-through was completed with the customer, payment successfully collected and work area was thoroughly cleaned up. Replace regular outlets for bathroom and outside ins individual gfci

For this job, I replaced a 40 gallon gas heater with a new 50 gallon gas water heater. I installed new shut offs for the whole home, water heater, and gas for water heater. Came out today because Jan heard a weird noise coming from her smoke alarm. The smoke alarm is original to the house, 41 years old. She does have newer smokes in the house, including within 3 feet of the old smokes. Since the smoke is 41 years old and there is a new on right next to it we decided to remove it and blank off the box.

Performed camera inspection of main sewer line through basement closet bend. Observed pipe failure under slab and in front flowerbed. Recommend repairs asap to prevent property damage.

For this job, we dug and expose the water meter nipple, we removed and replaced failed meter nipple , we replaced water meter nipple and added check valve we also installed courtesy ball valve. We put meter box back and backfilled portion of hole customer wanted us to leave portion exposed. Also added a courtesy meter box for customer. Explained what we did to customer step by step. Location was at water meter by road.
