Troubleshooting for tripped breaker

Troubleshoot plumbing issue. ISSUE: Had sump pump not engaging. LOCATION: Basement. FINDINGS: Float may have been stuck or at an angle, not able to hit the switch. RESOLUTION: After draining down the system by plugging the pump straight into the wall and putting water back into the pit, float was able to properly hit the switch and pump out the storm drain 3 times. Was not able to determine what was causing float to engage properly. Advised homeowner to get a new system and/or install a sump pump alarm.

This job required removing our clients electric tankless water heater due to a potential hazard. A new standard 40 gallon electric was installed. It would test it for leaks and no leaks have been found. Another estimate will be left for our client for some additional work that needs to be addressed. Our client was very satisfied with the service that was provided today.

Customer originally called us here for a bad cartridge on a two handle shower, pressure the house was 120 psi with an original PRV, and a 16 yr old water heater. After I presented all my options, they wanted to go ahead with the peace of mind option, which included a new water 50 gallon water heater, a new PRV and main valve, and hot and cold cartridges for shower. All work has been tested no issues, ready for inspection!

Running new circuit for ac condenser

For this job we worked on providing and installing a new 20 amp dedicated circuit. We used that circuit to feed an exterior outlet and dining room outlet that we’re back to back that had no power. We tested connection and voltage after completing at the breaker and each receptacle. Everything is working properly. The circuit is protected by dual function breaker that offers AFCI and GFCI protection.

Perform a systems home care maintenance. Generator maint and monitoring

Installed two 1/2” gas lines for gas stove installation and gas fireplace installation. Used gas sniffer on all gas piping installed to ensure there are no leaks in the system at this time.

Customer scheduled to have first annual flush on tank styled water heater. TE arrived and flushed unit. Filled unit and tested.

Performed 1 system diagnostic on system that serve whole home found ofm failed, dirty condenser coil, dirty blower, dirty filter, no te flood protection, unit has air in liquid side of unit, active leak will need to do nitrogen leak search, supply plenum not insulated and duct run are poorly insulated. Unit is 26 years old for the ac and coil and the furnace is 10 years old as well due to age and type of fiailure recommend replacement over repair due to unit being R22 as well which is no longer in circulation. The ofm motor has a lead time of 14-17 days once ordered. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. 8-10 10/8

Provide labor and materials to replace all existing smoke detectors throughout the home. Work includes removal and proper disposal of existing smoke detectors, installation of new code-compliant smoke detectors at existing locations, and testing of all newly installed devices to verify proper operation. All work will be completed in accordance with applicable electrical and life-safety codes and manufacturer requirements.

Removed garbage disposal and rebuilt kitchen sink waste drain. Tested and ensured everything is working properly. Put wire nuts on wiring for disposal and showed homeowner where the breaker for the disposal was located and informed her that it is turned off and to keep it off for the foreseeable future.

TGL electrical ….For this job, it was required to me to install a Kohler kitchen faucet, re-modify drain system, as well as install a new garbage disposal and water shut off valve. All items have been tested for leaks, and no leaks have been found. Our client is also interested in kitchen cabinet lighting for her remodel project if we can get her an electrician in a timely manner. Client also has an electrical outlet underneath the kitchen sink that is questionable. Our client is very satisfied with the service that would provide a day in the outcome of it… Water pressure is 50 psi.

Performed routine maintenance inspection on 6 y/o Rheem system that operates for whole house. Furnace located in crawlspace. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Replaced customer supplied 16x25x4 media filter. Safeties are good. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Recommend Apco Ultra Air Scrubber for air purification. Condensate pump operational. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. Condenser coil cleaning needed. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.

Generator QC

Today’s visit was for the upstairs unit that was installed this year not working. Thermostat was blank. When I arrived I found no power to the thermostat. I checked the indoor unit and found the power was turned off to the furnace. Turned power on and checked operation. Tested flood protection and checked wiring. Cleared drain line and verified it was draining. Monitored cooling operation. The system is cooling a this time. Thank you for choosing TE Certified
