Replace 40 gallon electric water heater with 50 gallon electric water heater. Installed new thermal expansion tank, recirculating pump, and comfort tee.

Performed HomeCare maintenance on two systems. Noticed no ss1 on the condensate drains, insulation is poor, and recommend a APCO X to keep system clean from organic growth and to improve indoor air quality. Restored flame sensors. Cleared pressure switch tubings. Blower motors are pulling correct amps. Blower wheels are clean. Wet switch’s are working properly. Flue pipes, gas sediment traps, and gas lines are up to code. Cleared condensate drains. Replaced 16/25/1 filters. Condenser coils are clean. Capacitors and contactors are in manufacture specs. Pressures are good. Disconnects are working properly. Replaced insulation. Customer wants to change his HomeCare maintenance plan to the card on file that ends in 1006.

RETURN VISIT: For second floor system repair main drain line install New condensate pump and connect to pvc vent stack plus install 2 new Extra safety’s in line switch and wet switch. Test condensate pump with 5 gallons of water is working ok plus no sign of water leak at the new PVC fittings capped off the old drain line test cooling mode system is Working ok at this moment. For this job, I came to look at a system that was no longer cooling after we performed an inspection a week ago. When I arrive, the customer explained to me that even when the thermostat was off, the outdoor unit would continue to run. The first thing I did was proceeded to inspect all the electrical components outside, and I noticed that the contactor was extremely pitted and at the point of failure. This resulted in the contacts getting stuck together and causing the unit to run when there was no call. I Showed the problem to the customer as well as provided an estimate to replace the contactor. He agreed on the estimate and i proceeded to replace it and constantly test the unit to ensure that everything was working.

Trouble shoot issue

Performed 1 system diagnostic for basement unit. Found unit to be 22 years old, rusted coil, incorrect gas sediment, dirty filter, and unit was low on charge. Due to age of unit and cost of repairs customer would like estimate for replacement. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Handle on the tub/shower spins without turning on or off the water. Discovered that the part of the cartridge is broken inside of the handle. Shut off the water to the home and drained the line, removed and replaced the cartridge for the tub/shower. Turned on the water and pressurized the system. The handle is now functioning properly. Tested with with no leaks.

I figured out that the source of the customers leak was a pressure relief valve in an upstairs laundry room, cut out continuously running. What I did was, I changed out the pressure reducing valve, the thermal expansion tank, re-piped a section of the cold side on the water heater allowing thermal expansion tank to be strapped. I also installed a watts 25 AUB With a new main water shut off. I ensure there was no water movement at the meter and it held 0.00 gallons per minute rating for five minutes. I also had to flush the customer’s water heater. Everything has been tested and completed.

Customer called us out for a tub drain stoppage in the master bathroom. I will attempt to remove stoppage using the snake machine. I was successfully able to remove stoppage in the master bathroom, shower drain. I tested with lots of water in the presence of the customer to ensure proper drainage. Everything is draining and operating properly at this time. Customer is very satisfied.

Performed 1 system diagnostic for basement level unit found failed OFM for 24 year old unit. Found rusted evap coil, capacitor replace but had substance on door, no flood protection, dirty blower wheel , no pan. Due to age of system and type of failure recommend replacing system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Remove and install new toilet

For this job, I came to replace a faulty inducer motor with a new one. I proceeded to shut the power off, remove the electrical plug and the harness of the inducer motor assembly. Proceeded to install the new inducer motor in a secure tight position with all the screws put in. I Then proceeded to restore power to the unit and test the unit several times in heat to ensure that the inducer motor was properly working.
