For this job, I conducted lead detection services as a TGL for original technician Cory. Throughout my investigation, I realized the water loss on the main once isolated between the meter and the shut off in the basement was intermittent and would release 1/10 of a gallon every 3 to 5 minutes. I put compressed air on the line and it held at 50 psi for over 30 minutes. When I checked the meter again, there had been no change. The main service has an irrigation master shut off valve about 36 inches off the meter I noticed this valve box kept filling with water even though the gate valve inside was completely shut. We dug up the irrigation master shut off valve and noticed water leaking from the irrigation line even though the valve was closed. We discovered the irrigation master shut off valve has failed and does not close completely. The irrigation line was leaking at a fitting about 10 inches off of the irrigation master shut off. This is an irrigation leak.

Homeowner had a leak in the ceiling and water was off. Cut open section of drywall to access the piping. Cut out section of uponor piping and installed new pex. Turned water on and tested and everything is working properly.

Customer called us out for a toilet that was randomly not filling the tank in the office bathroom on the 2nd floor. I flushed the tank 10 times and could not repeat the issue. I recommended replacing the fill valve, supply line and flapper to prevent future issues. Customer agreed. I drained the toilet, removed the flapper, fill valve and supply line, then installed the new ones and adjusted the fill height of the water. I tested the toilet multiple times with no issues. I cleaned up through and checked for any leaks. The toilets tank was also slightly loose so I tightened it up.

No cool- 2023 Carrier System Customer complained the temperature kept rising when AC was last used. My diagnostic revealed the Compressor has failed on the system. Also found a zone damper motor not hooked up in the attic. Customer not able to finance repairs at this time. Once funds are available, she will contact us for the repairs.

Water heater was causing breaker to trip and was producing no hot water. We discovered that the upper element had started leaking and was potentially causing the lower thermostat/element to short out. Installed new 50 gallon electric Rheem water heater. Installed new expansion tank, ball valves, drip pan, and leak alarm. We turned the water off at the valve inside the house and the valve broke when we tried to turn it back on. Upon arrival spoke with the customer about a dripping tub spout in the upstairs hall bathroom that another plumber changed the seats and springs and was still dripping. Removed the trim and changed the cartridge which was a gray top delta. No seats or springs are associated with the valve. No further dripping was observed. Customer has a 2 gal expansion tank with no air charge being supported by cpvc. Advised customer it needs to be replaced and supported by the structure of the home. Customer didn’t not want to replace today as she is leaving to go out of town. She will call in at a later date to have me out to replace the expansion tank.

Customer called us out for a possible mainline blockage. I inspected the toilet and shower and saw where there had been a back up. I then inspected the piping and determined where the issue might be. Customer has Cpvc throughout the house and a 14 year old water heater that he did not want replaced at this time. I recommended pulling a toilet and running a cable machine through the main line to clear the blockage. Before I could begin work the line cleared itself. I verified from the outside clean out. Customer did not provide an e-mail.

I was called out to Renee’s house for a Homecare maintenance. Renee has lived here for about a year so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered the run capacitor failed its test, there isn’t any flood protection on the system, the wheel is very dirty, the blower motor is worn out/dirty, the heat exchanger is significantly rusted and corroded which may make it unsafe for heating before long, the plenums are duct board and are dirty, the furnace needs leveled to allow proper drainage, the condenser fan motor is worn out/leaked out it’s oil, the evaporator coil needs cleaned, the service valves on the ac are leaking R22 refrigerant, the ductwork is obsolete R6, and the filter can be upgraded so it has a longer life span and will improve the air quality as well. Some repairs aren’t possible due to the excessive rust or obsolete refrigerant. For this Job I came out and replaced a 10 year 50 gallon gas water heater that was leaking from the bottom. I replaced with new Rheem 6 year warranty gas water heater. Strapped expansion tank to wall and installed water heater pan. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.

No cool- Found system off on high pressure error code. Reset system and found outdoor fan not working due to failed capacitor. Contact is in need of replacement as well. Customer agreed to replace both. After replacement of parts I tested the cooling and zoning controls. I changed the filter, flushed the drain and checked refrigerant levels. Customer called us out because the upstairs office toilet was not filling with water. I checked the filling of the bowl and tank and everything seemed to be working well. Customer had another toilet that would randomly run on its ownin the main entryway. I checked the flapper and it was very warped. I recommended replacing it and the customer agreed. I replaced the flapper with a new one, adjusted the fill height and tested the toilet throughly. Everything was working well. Customer did not want water heater checked.

Customer called due to water leaking through the garage ceiling when the hose bib shut-off valve was turned on. After receiving approval to troubleshoot, cut open the garage ceiling and found a burst copper pipe feeding the hose bib. Repaired the first damaged section, then discovered a second burst section during testing. Informed homeowner and completed both repairs after approval. Tested system to confirm no further leaks and showed homeowner how to properly drain the hose bib line to prevent future issues. Also provided an estimate for water heater replacement due to the age of the unit.

Completed one system maintenance verified, and change filter clear drain lines checked all safety and components while maintaining the system. Disconnect to air handler is seized. No safety switches on air handler contactor on condenser is pitted , compressor is needing a hard start kit whip on outdoor unit is needing to be replaced. Spoke with customer about all repairs that need to be done. Customer agreed tech tested all repairs that was done at this time system is operating. Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.

Performed leak search opening ceiling beneath master bathroom. Diagnosed a leak coming from the shower drain. Provided options for repair and also replacement. The homeowners moved forward with repair. Removed the drain and replaced the washer. Reinstalled the drain with putty. Tested for leaks, no leaks present at this time. Informed the homeowners that we will provide a limited warranty for the work. Also informed that we would explore the next steps of replacement if the issue continues. 30 day limited warranty

Met with customer and spoke with them regarding the issue they are experiencing. Customer has whole home backup and first noticed the issue roughly a month ago. Customer has been in and out of the home and using fixtures infrequently. But recently when they used fixtures upstairs it caused their toilets to gurgle as well as downstairs. Home was built in 2023 and is on concrete slab. There is a clean out outside where sewage came out of and the clean out is currently full. Clean out is only about 10-12’ from the septic tank lid. I recommended to the customer that they contact a septic company to remove the lid and pump the tank out as it is likely full. Customer will do so and a sewer supervisor will return to the home Friday to camera inspect the line after the tank is pumped to ensure there are no issues with the piping from the house to the tank.

Tyler came out to assess the situation with our water heater and gave us several options for repair/replacement. The easy and low cost option was to "bandaid" the problem, but given the age of the unit we decided to go ahead and replace it. He got us a fair quote and scheduled installation for the next working day and arrived and dug into the job. We can tell his workmanship was far superior to the builder's installation. Tyler is friendly, professional and a true craftsman to his trade, a quality you don't often see. We now have hot water almost instantly in our home. I upgraded my home theater and naturally wanted to protect the investment from dangerous electrical surges. After researching the best way to protect home electronics, I determined whole home surge protection was the way to go.
