Performed diagnostic on main unit. Homeowner said it wasn’t keeping up. Ended up being the wrong unit that was causing the problem so did a check up on both units. Master unit has a 12 degree temp split. Both systems short on duct work. Subcool is low. No drain pans. Main unit has a puddle under it currently. Filters need to be changed.

Replace flapper in master toilet Customer called us out for a toilet that kept on running and for a kitchen sink. Upon arrival customer stated that they had a toilet that kept running. I went to take a look at it and noticed the water level was to high and the flapper was not functioning properly. We replaced the flapper and adjusted the water level a bit lower. We tested the toilet to ensure it was functioning properly. Customer showed me when you run water with soap in the kitchen sink, and turn the garbage disposal on it would come through the Studdor vent and start coming throught the bottom on the cabinet. We ran water normal and didn’t see it backup. We ran our cable machine down the drain and brought back cast iron sludge. We went to test again and it would only come back up to the Studdor vent and only when the disposal is on. We recommended a sewer supervisor to come inspect why it came from the bottom of the kitchen cabinet. Customer will contact us back to schedule.

Came to diagnose a no heat. Outdoor breaker was tripped. Heat strips currently don’t work. Blower capacitor a bit low. Supply and return ducts are missing about 350 CFM. No inline safety or wet switch. Pressures and delta T are within range. Ducts do seem to be dirty.

Replace outlets and switches that broke and stopped working

Today I found that 2 dampers were not functioning. The sensor for zoning that reads air temp was way below actual temperature and shutting off the zoning. The blower motor was struggling to run and the condenser outside was obstructed by debris on the coils. Cooling maintenance completed also.

Performed 2 system homecare care. Changed filters and cleared drains . Checked all electrical, ignition and refrigeration components. Changed capacitor for basement unit . All systems are working properly at the moment.

We replaced the “bellied” pipe that was foam core. We replaced it with a stick of solid core pipe. We bedded the pipe to ensure no further belly would occur.

Troubleshoot garage light not working

Client called us out due to water leaking onto the garage floor around the water heater. Further inspection of the system showed a failed thermal expansion tank and high static water pressure over 80 psi. These 2 failed devices caused elevated water pressure when the heater was firing and the emergency relief valve to open up and water to release on the floor. Client also mentioned their recirculating pump wasn’t operating well and was failing. Reworked piping for main water shutoff, pressure regultator, and cold inlet of the water heater to accomodate new connections. Installed new thermal expansion tank and Pressure regulator as well as a new Grundfos Alpha series recirculating pump. Replaced both code required check valves on the system. Set incoming water pressure to 65 psi, thermal expansion tank to 70psi and purged all water lines of air. Flushed the heater as a courtesy and verified proper function of the system.

We installed a customer supplied 20 Amp circuit for a garage office

Opened Sheetrock for access, cut into previously capped copper waterline and installed new 1/4 turn ice maker box with code required hammer arrestor. Reinstalled access panel and tested for leaks. Hooked up customer supplied icemaker line to the refrigerator and purged the system.

Pull basement toilet to perform sewer scope Mapped out sewer drains under concrete slab from basement toilet to entrance of septic tank. There is still a significant back pitch from basement bathroom to middle of living area of basement, approximately 27’. At entrance of septic tank, it appears to be clear with no pitch issues if pipe.

Today we came out for only system not cooling do to backed up drain line on 2022 carrier 4 ton heat pump split single stage zoned. Vacuumed water from emergency drain pan and flushed drain line. Client has single stage equipment with zoning and no bypass told client to expect issues moving forward. The true fix would be to install inverter technology. Checked refrigerant pressures and left estimates for flood protection and home care service

Trim out basement

We have located the leak and now have identified the issue. A failed ‘90’ fitting has broken. I do not see water leaking from anywhere else at this time. Since we would like to hold off on replacing the aging water service, included is the final price for digging, repairing, and backfilling the area. The repair involves cutting in a new 90 with couplings on both sides and solvent welding it to the existing pipe. I can’t guarantee that there will be no breaks in the water service line down the road and can not warranty any of the pre existing pipe, I can warranty the connections I make with this repair should they leak within 1 year. Pressure tested the system and saw no additional issues at this time backfilled and cleaned area. Meter is not registering any active leaks

For this job, we conducted lead detection services as a TL for original technician max. We discovered the leak about 5 feet off the meter in an unpaved area just to the right of the drive. We excavated and discovered where the water was coming from in the area has been marked with a blue flag.

Installed two emporia chargers, installed surge protector and emporia metering device in panel.
