Performed homecare maintenance on two systems. Added ss1 to both systems, chemical cleaned blower wheel for main, and added APCO X to upstairs system. Restored flame sensors. Cleared pressure switch tubings. Blower motors are pulling correct amps. Upstairs blower wheel is clean. Wet switch are working properly. Flue pipes, gas sediment traps, and gas lines are up to code. Cleared condensate drains (drain goes into washer box). Replaced 16/25/1 and 15/20/1 filters. Condenser coils are clean. Capacitors and contactors are in manufacture specs. Pressures are good. Disconnects are working properly.

Installed customer provided thermostat and replaced the outdoor capacitor. I tested the emergency heating and cooling at the thermostat. HVAC system was operating at the end of service call. System was putting out 54 degree air at the supply vents when I left (78 degrees in the home). I also installed customer provided media filter.

Tech arrived to issue call concerning whole home. Customer recently purchased home and had concerns with hot/cold spots, dehumidification and exhaust roof venting. Main thermostat is reading as intended, master bedroom is colder than intended, and basement is much colder than upstairs. Customer was looking into EcoBee pro with sensors to adjust temperatures throughout the day and will get one on their own. Customers also interested in dehumidification, provided quote. Customer agreed to full diagnostics. Inspected system. System has UV system in place, blower wheel is clean. Temperature split in cooling is within specs. Water safeties are not up to TE standards. Checked outdoor unit. Unit is in fair condition. Refrigerant charge is within specs. Outdoor capacitor 70/10 is out of tolerance. No other mechanical issues. Brough recommendations to customer. Run a cable in the floor drain to clear Customer was experiencing a slow shower drain due to hair build and shower gunk buildup. Removed shower drain cover, Ran k45 cable in drain and we were able to get good flow into drain. Reassembled drain plate. Customer satisfied!

Dig up water main outside in front of house Found broken 1” pex at foundation, very large concrete block resting on it Remove existing pipe that penetrates the foundation wall Install new pipe to penetrate the foundation wall with sleeving and connect inside and outside and test for leaks Use hydraulic cement to seal penetration on inside and outside, then use waterproofing tar to seal the inside and outside as well Cover hole and replace mulch

Customer has 3 y/o Rheem heat pump system that operates for upper level. System was not cooling due to water in pan. Removed water from pan. Noticed that main and upper level systems are sharing drain line. Clog in drain line due to improper pitch. Cleared drain line and p-trap for both systems. Relocated drain lines for proper pitch. Tested systems. Pressure levels were normal. Replaced 16x20x1 filter for upper level. Systems are currently working.

Luis and Anthony did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing several plumbing issues. They were courteous, explained in detail the issues and options…even went to a big box store to purchase parts needed I have used TE in past for electrical and HVAC and had same excellent experience. So there must be something special TE Certified does to recruit and train their employees. Highly recommend using this company.

Jared took the time to thoroughly inspect the system, identified the issue that had been missed before by another company, and clearly explained what was going on.
