I worked on replacing existing PRV with new ball valve and also replaced existing gas flex connector with new gas valve I ran the T&p line to the outdoors and did a tankless flush

SERVICE CALL: Customer noticed water damage coming on ceiling, the pan for the upstairs system was full of water. Customer turned off system for the time being. Upon inspection we noticed that the outdoor unit was running without a call from the thermostat causing the system to freeze up and when indoor coil thawed out and overflow the metal drain pan and float Switch did not work to shut off the system unit is 2 years old and the installation was not done properly no extra safety’s to prevent water damage the flue pipe connection was reduced from 4 inches from the inducer to 3 inches to the exhaust pipe the metal drain pan is. Customer is aware of the conditions and declined any repairs at this moment Thanks. By customer request we put back together all the wiring and thermostat Plus we disconnected the outdoor pull out 60 amps disconnect to prevent the outdoor unit keep running and ice up the system again. Supplied and installed a 100 gallon AOsmith BTR 197, insulated both hot and cold lines and replaced half inch gas shut off valve to water heater with a new flex line.

Install new outlet at fountain with existing power from sunroom No warranty if power is interrupted by any other circumstance or power usage

Customer called about a jammed disposal. TE arrived and found a few obstructions in disposal. Cleared disposal of obstructions and tested.

For this job, I proceeded to look at a unit that was not cooling. After a diagnosis I was able to determine that the contactor has burnt out. I noticed the high voltage wire going to the condenser as well was brittle. Here I also noticed that the condenser coil was extremely dirty. I provided an estimate to replace the contactor as well as deep, clean condenser coil and replace the high-voltage wire on the whip. The customer today agreed to just replace the contactor. I explained that due to the condition of that old contactor and the burnt wires that it’s very important to replace that wiring on the whip since it can cause more trouble.

Customer has 10 y/o 2-zone Carrier system that operates for main and basement levels. Performed routine maintenance inspection and found that heat exchanger is in very poor condition. Significant rust around burner box. Burners are also rusted. Inducer motor flue has rust due to water damage. Blower wheel so very dirty. Overall furnace in poor condition. Repairs will outweigh replacement, which is recommended. Poor water protection. Dampers are operational, however, seem to be overheating and slow to move. Pressure levels were fair. Dual capacitor is bad. Condenser coils are in poor condition. Advised customer to seek full system replacement due to compatibility issues with the upgrade of equipment and that system is no longer under warranty. Separation of equipment will cause issues down the line when comes to modifying equipment to match. Also, damper system will have to be superseded if equipment is replaced due to system communication. Informed customer of all findings.

Troubleshooting, switch and outlet.

Returned to install new pump and lid for the sewage ejector. I removed the old lid, pump, check valve, cut back the discharge stack and also found the basin was not properly vented. The lav drain is tied to the vent but does not have a vent. With the owners permission, I ran a 2” vent through one of the crawlspace vents and sealed around it. I installed a new pump, discharge stack and dual ball/check valve. Installed a new lid with new gaskets. Made sure everything was sealed. Ran the pump, checked for leaks or errors and provided straps to properly secure the pipes. Informed the owner of the final results. Provide and replace the existing ejector pump. Includes removal and disposal of the old ejector, new ejector, ball/check combo, installation, testing, and clean-up. Note: TE Certified has advised the customer that pumps are not reliable and inherently an issue. Customer understands that pumps are designed to fail and require maintenance. For this job, we worked on doing a troubleshoot on garage circuit that’s together with the kitchen lighting as well after it tripped the day before when outlet got wet from a small flood in the bathroom upstairs. the outlet was also backstabbed so we highly recommend replacing it before it corrodes and causes an issue later on.

Replaced two commercial grade basket strainer.

Customer had a toilet in the guest bathroom in the hallway that was blocked up. I tested the entire bathroom group to be sure it wasn’t a mainline issue and it was isolated with the toilet itself., so I gave an option to run a auger down the toilet and was able to clear the blockage after testing. The toilet is now flushing properly with no backups present. I tried to check the water heater, but it was in the room that we did not have access to. Also, the pressure to the house is reading 120 psi., recommend having a pressure regulator replaced to bring it back to 70 psi

Dig trench for new landscape lighting and outdoor rope lighting. All new landscape lighting was installed throughout the front yard. 9 path lights and 8 spot lights were installed with two strips of rope lighting also added. Everything is working off photocells to be able to operate on dusk to dawn. Two existing switches were replaced for timer switches for outdoor coach lighting. We can warranty all of the workmanship and connections we’ve made, however we cannot warranty the strip lights as they were provided by the homeowner and not TE. One of the two main panels in the basement has its cover missing and couldn’t be found anywhere on site. I put tape surrounding the panel to help at least for temporary and I left an estimate for us to locate, order, and install the panel cover.

Preformed 2 minor rebuilds on downstairs and upstairs hall bath toilets and replaced 1 toilet handle on upstairs hall bath

Arrived at the house due to fan not working, after home homeowner performed some repairs, chain switch for the fan was replaced after chain broke, after examinating the issue we discovered that connector between junction box and switches had one loose socket, we tightened the socket as best as we could, advised the customer that replacement of the fan might be necessary if issue persist.

Replace light fixture in kitchen Provide options to improve home’s electrical safety and efficiency

Called out for backed up kitchen sink. Customer stated that they got the line snaked a few months ago and was able to clear it and they thought the issue was grease. Ran mini Jetter through the line and was able to pull back grease chunks and a plastic straw. Ran the mini Jetter a few times through the line to ensure that it was draining. Put the plumbing back together under the sink and ran water for 10+ minutes to test the line thoroughly. Kitchen sink is now draining and flow has been restored. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Replace ceiling fan in living room

Performed whole house pressure test on main gas line. Turned off all valves to each gas fixture. Connected gauge to main line at meter. Pressurized lines. Performed leak search. Found 2 leaks one on shut off ball valve for kitchen stove. The other leak on a 90 for the gas water heater line.quotes for repairs. Homeowner approved repairs. Cut out damaged sections repipe fixtures. Added a new ball valve and flex gas whip for the kitchen stove. Connected the line for the water heater. Pressurized lines again held 16 psi for 40 min. Released pressure off lines and turned gas on at meter. Went to purge lines at kitchen stove and water heater. No gas coming through lines. Checked meter again. The gas meter valve will spin all the way around 360* did not hear the 1” regulator make a noise. Informed homeowner that the gas company will need to come look at their meter. Either the ball valve is broken in the off position or the regulator for the meter has malfunctioned and will need to be replace

Install customer supplied faucet.

Install new grounding system. Two ground rods 6 feet apart in the backyard. Grounded, hot to cold water pipe and also grounded both sides of PRV. Troubleshoot flickering lights.

Performed a toilet rebuild by removing all components inside of the toilet and replacing. Turned on the water to the toilet and flushed multiple times to tests. The toilet is flushing properly with no leaks.
