Troubleshoot smart switch and Install dimmer switch

Came in for a no cool call. When testing in outdoor unit notice that electrical components has failed due to a really dirty condenser, causing components to over amp due to air flow issues. Let costumer know about this issues and gave him, options. Costumer moved forward with repairs. Work was done and tested. Costumer also agreed by paying over the phone using his card on file. The customer had no hot water at the start of the call, and I was able to find out the water heater was unmaintained and very old. I gave the customer options on water, filtration, tankless water, heater, and tank type water heater, in the customer chose to have a tankless water heater installed, and a whole home water filtration system. I relocated the main water shut off into the mechanical room inside the garage. A navien 240A2 was installed, and a halo H2 zero ultimate. The pressure reducing valve was reused due to it being a new condition and working.

Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.

Perform a system home care maintenance. Change filter, tested all electrical components, flushed drain line, tested thermostat, Tested both system on cool and heat, checked pressures and refrigerant. Units are running, however there are some issues that need to be addressed, also costumer dos not have any type of insulation behind the walls. Let costumer know and left details and option on inspection sheet attach to this email follow with quotes. Homeowner decided to move forward with repairs. Island power

Our client reached out to us to have his kitchen sink island items. All new waterline connections, including stops and hammer arresters were installed. The client’s kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal were also installed. All items were test for leaks and no leaks were found. Water pressure is at 60 psi and the client is very satisfied with our service.

Tested system not cooling for whole home. Found the blower motor, control board, capacitor, transformer, return plenum, and blower wheel all with noticeable physical and functional damage from the water in the basement. Found other issues with the system that is related to age including failing parts and cleanings needed. The existing ductwork also has asbestos tape around the ducts themselves and we will require to tamper with this in order to complete any replacements. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Our client reached out to us in reference to a basket strainer on his kitchen sink that he tried to install. I was quoted and he agreed for the work to be done. New strainer is installed along with a new P-trap. All work was tested for leaks and no leaks were found. Water pressure at 110 psi and customer opted out of the issue being resolved today. If follow up will be done on June 6.

Install Rheem 2 ton 14 seer2 single stage air conditioner, all aluminum cased evaporator coil, 80% efficient 50,000 BTU single stage gas furnace for main floor in the basement closet.

Performed 1 system inspection, check drains, check filter, replace thermostat that was not installed when unit was installed. Found dirty blower and recommend joining homecare.

Valves on the washer box are leaking. Shut off water to the home and drained the system, cut the Sheetrock below to access the pipes of the washer box. Removed existing washer box and replaced. Turned on the water and pressurized the water lines. No leaks detected.

Customer has 11 y/o Amana system that operate for whole house. Furnace located in basement. System was not cooling due to AC not working. Checked dual capacitor, which is good. Outdoor control board indicates that line voltage is low, however, when reading it is proper voltage. Outdoor control board seems to be faulty. Performed condenser coil cleaning. Noticed through inspection, that blower wheel is dirty. Burners are rusted leading into heat exchanger. No water protection is present. Condenser fan motor is overheating. Informed customer of all findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Electrical panel replacement

Installed dimmer switch and replaced breaker in the main panel.

Replace oven outlet and install 40amp 2pole gfci breaker

Upon arrival customer stated that system was not cooling properly for the main level. After inspection of system found that there was no power going to the thermostat. Checked voltage and only had 15 volts at the thermostat wires. Checked furnace in basement and only had 15 volts at the control board. Found that fuse was blown in system. Checked outdoor unit and found that unit is reading 0psi and all the refrigerant has leaked out of the system. System is 24 years old. Gave customer estimated prices for repairs, recommended speaking with our install supervisor about updating equipment due to system being obsolete, age of equipment and cost of repairs. Customer does want to speak with the install supervisor before making any repairs to equipment at this time. Unit not working at this time.
