Came out today to perform one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that the thermostat was not sending a signal to cool to the unit. Upon inspection of the system found that the thermostat was set to emergency heat after setting the thermostat to cool unit kicked on and was working properly. After speaking with customer Customer wanted to sign up for the home care maintenance plan. After performing the home care maintenance plan found that the disconnect for the indoor unit was burnt due to a loose connected wire. After explaining to customer the risk of leaving the disconnect on customer elected to replace the disconnect. After replacing disconnect tested the system, and everything was working properly there was no flood protection made customer aware of the dangers of not having any type of flood protection on the system. At this time, the system is up and running properly, and there are no further concerns.

customer called us out for a leak in one of their facilities on the golf course. Found a half-inch waterline that was supplying an old water fountain leaking. The water fountain has been removed and the customer would just like the line cap for now. Quoted customer on repair and they agreed. Capped off the waterline and restored water to check for leaks. Found no leaks at this time, but then checked the pressure and found that it was at 40 psi

Installed new ball valve to isolate the recirculating line to stop future leaks, customer is aware this will slow how fast the water gets hot

For this job I came out and conducted a spot repair on a half inch pipe on bottom of home. That was leaking from a shark bite connection I cut out 3 shark bite fittings and conducted a repair on the pipe. Let customer know due to lack of insulation pipes are prone to freezing . Tested and checked for leaks.

Tech arrived on site located PRV within access panel of basement wall. Tech removed existing PRV and newly installed watts 3/4” pressure reduction valve. A new 3/4” PP ball valve was newly installed on main supply line before PRV, replacing old existing gate valve. All connections are tightened and secured and have been properly tested for no leaks and proper functioning, w/ water pressure at 65psi. All ok at this time with customer satisfaction.

Performed fall tune up on 3 year old Goodman furnace, flushed drain line, changed 1-16x25x1 filter, checked capacitor for inducer motor, checked amp draw of blower motor as well as inducer motor, inspected burners, flame sensor was a little dirty, cleaned flame sensor, checked temperature rise on furnace, recommended coil cleaning on outdoor unit due to vines and dirt build up in condenser coil, also recommended UV protection as well as wet switch to prevent any water damage that may occur due to a clogged drain line, all units and electrical components working properly at this time. No gas or carbon monoxide detected

Installed new circuit for car charger to side of home. Replaced all mismatched breakers in main panel.

Found leak in basement area on hot side. Hot line had pin hole. Tested and checked for leaks

For this job, I installed a 30 amp generator inlet. I ran a 30 amp circuit from panel to outside and installed an interlock system.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Came out for system only running in Aux heat. Found the capacitor to be bad not turning on heat pump. Replaced cap and system is now heating properly in heat mode and Aux heat. Recommend installing iaq and cleaning outdoor coil along with HC sign up.

Remove and re putty the stand up shower drain in the master bathroom and replace the moen posi temp cartridge to stop the shower from dripping as well, also replaced PRV due to high-pressure tested all items replaced no leaking at this time

Troubleshoot Replace Switch Estimates for Devices and Surge Protector

Performed diagnostic on 7yr old downstairs unit, upon arrival customer stated unit just stopped working, tstat was already in heat mode but nothing running, upon goin in attic unit was giving 3 flashes ( pressure switch stuck open) blew thru tube with resistance, used wire to clean port and pressure switch now closing, fired unit up several times with no issues, checked over system, recommend wet switch for flood protection, also recommend blower capacitor due to reading weak 20/16, blower wheel impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, inducer pulling higher then normal amps, recommend replacing inducer , spoke with customer about homecare benefits also care as well as better indoor air quality such as apcox x and blue tube, went over all options, customer decided to just sign up for home care at the time , wants to go over options with spouse when she wakes up and will give us a call, unit is working with no other issues at time

For this job I came out for a T & P drain that was constantly leaking, open checking pressure to home pressure to home was at 120 psi pressure regulating valve was failed, I removed and replaced existing prv. Expansion tank was also failed and not properly strapped and was being held up by plumbing. I removed and replaced existing expansion tank and strapped it properly to wall with wall mount bracket. I also removed and replaced T & P valve. I flushed the water heater. Bled out all lines check and tested for leaks, and conducted a super clean up.

As we arrived today, Mrs. Cline and Randy explained to us in detail how the lights in kitchen area have been flickering from time to time. It’s not continuous. It’s just every now and then. We did witness it multiple times while we were here. We did a troubleshoot on the entire circuit. First, we removed the electrical panel and checked everything inside. All connections were solid in the electrical panel, but I did find multiple breakers that are incorrect for this panel. This panel is a GE panel and it had six tandem Siemens breakers installed in the panel, which is incorrect and could keep these breakers from tripping properly, which is a danger. Unfortunately, this panel does not take tandem GE breakers so the only way to fix this problem would be to replace the entire panel. The panel is more than 50 years old, so it would definitely be recommended to get an upgraded panel at the least. I’m going to attach an estimate for a new panel installation. Today, I replaced a customer-supplied light fixture in the kitchen. The job involved safely removing the old fixture, testing circuit voltage to ensure proper operation, and installing the new light. The work was completed efficiently, and the customer expressed satisfaction with having the fixture replaced prior to moving out of the home.

Customer call us out for an inspection. During visit found ducting chewed through by rodents. Found blower constantly running even when in auto and off. Found corrosion on control board. Blower is dirty. Heat strips not coming on. Found water build up in crawl space due to sump pump not running. System is low on refrigerant. Low volt wires need to be rerun into air handler. Overall the system is not in good condition. Home has been vacant for over a year. We recommend replacing the control board with wire harness, cleaning the blower, repair low volt wire, replace heat strip kit, leak search, and ducts with holes in them. Also recommend condensation pump conversion, While in crawl noticed code violations with high voltage wires wire nutted with no junction box and found no disconnect at the air handler or heat pump.
