As we arrived back here today, November 26 at 10 AM we’ve come back to fulfill the estimate that I left Mrs. Lewis on Monday afternoon. I first installed a whole panel electrical surge protector directly below the electrical panel in the wall. I wired it into a 30 amp existing water heater breaker to power the surge protector. Engaged power, and the surge protector worked properly. The two green lights on the service protector should always be on. If they are not, please call us back and we will come check everything out at no cost to you. Next, I installed two separate 20 amp circuits and receptacles directly below the electrical panel in the wall. One 20 amp circuit and receptacle will control power to the plug-in for the generator so it can be charged on full at all times. As we arrived today, we were shown an exhaust fan in the upstairs bathroom, but did not work. We removed the switch cover and checked power on it and it was working properly. We also checked power in the fan itself and it was also working properly, but the fan would not come on. The fan motor is defective and needs to be replaced. We went to the supply house and picked up a new one. Once we return, we remove the existing fan motor and replaced it with a new one. Once that was done, the fan worked properly again. Came out to a no cool. The customer was concerned about her 2nd floor unit not cooling properly. I ran the system in heat and cool for 30 minutes. After diagnosing the system I found that the compressor was amping out of range but everything else was working according to specifications. Repair of broken phone line wire, different sections fo the wire had broken sections so we figured out which wires were still good, rewired 3 junction points and tested the phone, calls are now going through.

Performed diagnostic on two 24yr old furnaces, with 10yr old ac, customer only wanted me to check furnaces, upon arrival customer stated furnaces are working but she barley feels heat coming from vents, checked tstats, cycled to heat mode, units started up, going in attic noticed return plenum is falling off upstairs unit, upon flaming starting noticed flame is coming out of shield slightly causing flame rollout, explained to customer that’s not safe, burners are rusted, inspected heat exchanger, can see slight rust and discoloration, on downstairs unit you can see insulation starting to burn from heat inside exchanger, both inducer motors are over amping and can fail at any moment, checked capacitor, downstairs blower capacitor reading below specs recommend replacing, both blower wheels heavily impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, explained motors can still fail, inspected plenums, all plenums are sooted up heavily from customer burners multiple candles inside home through the da
