Replace 18 years old leaking water heater in the garage . Pressure reducer valve also needs to be replaced because the pressure is at 90 psi , which has caused heater failure , in addition to the age of both the heater and pressure regulator. New pressure regulator will be set to 60 psi .
I came outto investigate an issue with a screen that comes down from the top of the home down not working during certain months. It turned out that this is a GFCI that is tripping when the rains come.. It does not have any silicone protection, so the GFCI has been worn down by tripping so often and getting wet. I am replacing the outlet as well as the cover and putting silicone on it so it will stop getting water inside it and it should trip less often. I’m putting in a note about the other work that you want done with the dehumidifier which needs a hose pulled from the dehumidifier to the outside so you don’t have to change the water every day or when you’re out of town. Our plumbers should be able to do this for you and you can give them a call to set that up. You also want to have a new faucet on your back porch so you can water your plants. I’m including a price for installing a new outlet in the basement since you only have one on the far end and you may want a second one for t
Replacing a broken GFCI outlet and putting silicone around it so it does not get water in it
Performed spring maintenance on 2 systems. Inspected filter, checked blower wheel for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensor, cleared inducer port, tested hot surface igniter, took delta Ts, cleared drain line, tested safety switch, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, checked refrigerant pressures, and monitored systems operations.
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. They have had intermittent issues with their kitchen drain functioning properly. We tested and confirmed there is a blockage in the line and is not related to venting. At this time, we will be hydrojetting the line. We ran a cable and a hydrojetter from the sink access, up to 40’. We found a large amount of grease in the line. After hydrojetting, we reset the plumbing, ran water and confirmed no leaks or errors. We also discussed the Home Care Maintenance Plan and I have provided an estimate for when he is ready to move forward. Perform sink drain line cleaning using hydro jetter. Drain clear only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.
No cool. Found system low on refrigerant, performed complimentary leak search and could not pin point source of leak, gave customer option to do isolation leak search and to top up refrigerant and monitor operation over time. Customer opted in to have 3 lbs of refrigerant added to get system to normal operating levels. Added refrigerant and got subcool up to 10 degrees. System working as it should at this time.
Replace costumer supply flood
Upstairs system not working due to water in the drain pan. Evaporator coil is extremely freeze up and there nothing to be done at this visit. Will schedule to return tomorrow to do a full diagnostic. Update 4-23-26: came back out after evaporator thawed. We reset the wet switch, changed filter, and power cycled unit. Unit came on and started cooling. Cause of the evaporator freezing up was the result from a heavily impacted filter not allowing air to pass through. We noticed the drain line also improperly sloped and had gunk in P-trap. System is zoned, but has single stage compressor. This is not adequate for zone system as compressor is firing at 100% each time a zone is calling for air and can result in compressor failure early on. Compressor needs to be a variable speed compressor for zoning system. Breaker for both condensers are oversized. Upstairs condenser needs to be on an max rated breaker of 40amps and the lower level unit max is 30amps, but each one is on a separate 60amp br
For this job we completed the rest of the split job. Getting power to shed for heat lamps, fans, lights.

Customer was having minor issues with water getting cold during usage. After my troubleshooting I found that the recir pump was off and the return line was ice cold.. left estimate for repairs and replacement. Customer will reach out if issues continues. No other issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.
For this job, I worked on repairing a leak at the meter. Went ahead and replaced check valve and meter nipple up to the courtesy shut off. Tested and checked for leaks.
Installed two return ducts with new boots
For this job we installed new circuits for heated bulbs, fans, and keyless fixtures in the shed next to the main barn. Customer is having the shed enclosed and divided into two separate stalls. Installed weather rated receptacles in each of the four corners and installed bubble covers on each. Each circuit is installed on a GFCI protected breaker from the meter main combo and the main panel inside the barn. Also installed new outlets in the both main garages at the main house. Did a split job and will be returning to finished the switches and pipe after the siding crew gets done with their part.

Ran new gas line for rough in fire place in basement. Added isolation valves on the tie in side as well as connection to fireplace side. Gas is turned on and tested for leaks. This line is tied in with lot 3 upstairs fireplace on the gas manifold tag
Wire and install new flood lights
Replaced warranty evaporator coil in upstairs unit. System working properly at the moment.
Upon arrival, I met with the owners. The master bathroom shower was recently clogged and has not been used in 5 days. I tested, ran all three shower heads and found it to be draining properly at this time. For preventative maintenance I provided them with Endure. We also discussed the issues with their toilets and they plan to replace them in the future. I provided an estimate for that as well. Includes one bottle of Endure professional grade drain treatment to help breakdown organic buildup and maintain free flowing drains. Designed for residential and light commercial use as a preventative maintenance solution. This is not a mechanical clearing service. No warranty.
Returned to replace indoor disconnect that has melted off. Replaced disconnect 60A, cut wires back and reconnected using same whip. Customer has another company coming back out to adjust wiring for heat strips.
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. System is starting to freeze up. Single stage split system, bypass stuck open allowing cool air to recirculate and is causing pressures and temperatures to show overcharge but the system is not. Repairs would have to be made as quoted to further diagnose. System is 9 yrs old! Single stage zoned system with broken bypass. The flue it dead banded into the main flue and is not a direct upflow. Homeowner would also like to discuss indoor air quality upgrades with install supervisor..
Completed homecare for both systems. Checked all electrical,ignition and refrigeration components. Changed filters and cleared drains. Found up unit very low on refrigeration. Performed an electronic leaks search and found the attic unit evaporator coil leaking. Ordered a new evap coil under warranty. Scheduled for replacement Friday 2-5 pm. Replaced failing dual capacitor for main unit today.
Troubleshoot on Generac 22kw standby generator
System #3 was inspected today. We found a refrigerant leak at the evaporator coil, and the coil warranty has expired. Due to the age of the system and the expired warranty status, replacement of the full system is being recommended. There is also a chance that other issues could come to light once coil replacement is attempted, especially if parts availability becomes a problem. The customer-supplied an Aprilaire 210 filter that was replaced during the visit. The system also does not have adequate flood protection in place at this time. HomeCare maintenance and indoor air quality improvements were also discussed. Recommendation and options: • Full system replacement with a new A2L refrigerant system and full manufacturer warranty A full replacement gives you a fresh start with updated equipment, current refrigerant standards, and warranty coverage.
