Job Locations and Reviews
I conducted lead detection service for homeowner, I discovered the leak in the middle of the yard between a flower bed and an oak tree area has been marked with a blue paint
For this job, homeowner was having a leaking water heater. Once we arrived, we inspected the heater and saw it was dripping from the drain port. We checked the pressure and it was reading about 120 PSI. We informed the homeowner this was likely the reason the heater was dripping and would need to go ahead and replace both the PRV and heater as it was a plastic port and those we wouldn’t be able to repair. We wrote up several estimates on varying warranty years for the new heater ranging from 6-12 years. Homeowner decided with the 12 year. We double checked all of our work and all is working as it should at this time. PSI was set to about 65 and the expansion tank is set to 70 PSI. We went ahead added new shutoff valves for the hosebib and main as it was right in the same place as the heater as a courtesy. We collected 1806$ through Zelle from the homeowner today and she will be financing through synchrony on the remaining 1500$. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plu
Came out to troubleshoot the GFCI breaker protecting the EV charger circuit. After evaluating the system, I informed the homeowner that GFCI breakers are more sensitive than standard breakers and can nuisance-trip with certain EV chargers. I recommended replacing the existing setup with an EV wall connector on a dedicated circuit protected by a standard breaker. With the homeowner's approval, I completed the installation, tested the system, and verified the EV charger is operating properly.
Replaced washing machine box. Tested for leaks for approximately 15 minutes and function. No issues.
For this job the customer stated she noticed a leak in her basement coming from what appeared to be the water heater. Further inspection of the area showed no signs of leaking coming from the hvac system only leaving the water heater. I drained the heater down and cleaned up all water to ensure it was coming from the water heater and not somewhere else. After one hour I didn’t see anymore water confirming it was the heater. I gave the customer options for a new water heater, pressure regulator and to retro fit a recirculating pump. The customer agreed and the old heater was removed and replaced with a new one. All plumbing was done in accordance with code and checked thoroughly for leaks and proper function.
Home owner is going out of town and only wants drain repair completed outside. If ac fails there is no warranty for return trip. Home owner will schedule home care or inspection when she returns. Noticed dirty condenser coils. Drains getting dirty. Systems have not been serviced or cleaned in a long time.
Technician cut an access opening in the laundry room ceiling to investigate a water stain. After removing the drywall, the source of the leak was located at the bathtub overflow gasket. The bathtub overflow assembly was disassembled, and the faulty gasket was replaced with a new one. The overflow was then tested by running water over the assembly to verify the repair and confirm there were no leaks. As a courtesy, the shower trim was sealed with clear silicone to help prevent water intrusion. The leak was successfully repaired, and no leaks were observed during testing. NOTE: Please allow 24 hours for silicone to cure.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot water coming out of a lighting fixture upstairs. The lighting fixture sits right below the hvac unit and clients found their drain line disconnected, which they thought was the cause for concern. We did discovered that the home was cool, thermostats were satisfied, but there was water in the pan and moisture right outside the pan. We began by clearing water from the pan and testing system operation. We also recommend re routing the drain to avoid poor slope and to expedite the drains path outside. We spoke about Homecare, the outdoor condenser coil and did confirm that the drain as the source of our issues so after we rerouted the new drain, we tested it with drain cleaner and cleared the drain with cleaner to flush the debris from the discharge point of the drain. We did leave some estimates for cleanings and flood protection but they signed up for Homecare today and we adjusted the drain as a courtesy for testing purposes. Client thanked us for coming
Install Square D 100a sub panel, install surge protector on that sub panel, ran a 668 wire for an EV charger, ran a 6/3 wire from the meter to the back of the house for a generator inlet
Performed a diagnostic inspection after finding the condensate wet switch activated. Upon arrival, the system was operating, and the condensate drain pan was damp, indicating recent moisture accumulation. The garage was also experiencing elevated humidity levels. At this time, the system is cooling properly and operating within normal conditions. Discussed findings with the homeowner and explained that if the issue reoccurs, installation of a condensate float safety switch is recommended to provide additional flood protection by shutting the system down before an overflow can occur. Also noted that the furnace access door is currently missing, as it was accidentally discarded by a cleaning crew. The homeowner has already ordered a replacement furnace door. System was tested prior to departure and is cooling properly.
Julie called us out to install a dedicated 220 circuit for a wall mounted AC unit out on her back porch, which is being remodeled into a sewing room. The home run was installed onto a two pole 20 amp breaker
Arrived on site to troubleshoot the GFCI outlet in the master bathroom. After evaluating the circuit, informed the homeowner that the bathroom receptacles are protected by the upstairs bathroom GFCI. With the homeowner's approval, replaced the GFCI devices with new point-of-use GFCI receptacles. Tested all bathroom receptacles and verified they are operating properly. Also replaced several damaged receptacles in the kitchen and tested them to ensure proper operation. All work was completed successfully, and everything is functioning as intended.
I came out today due to the homeowners concerns of an indirect lighting strike that had occurred and knocked out the ceiling fan on the back porch. I preformed a diagnostic to verify that power was still present along with checking the remote and the receiver. I did find 120v between the hot and the neutral wire and also the remote had batteries and showed signs of it working. I believe that the receiver behind the canopy is what failed and the homeowner got in contact with the manufacturer and had a new receiver ordered and when it arrives she will call us to have it installed. The home is only a year old and I found inside the main panel a plug on surge protector. I informed the homeowners that the existing surge only has a 3 year warranty and the builders installed it just to meet code and county requirements. I explained the difference in the Ultra surges and what is pre existing so I supplied and installed a new breaker and lifetime warranty surge at the service disconnect and on
Homeowner has an old blue polyethylene water pipe that has split and begun leaking. The split is most likely due to a tree root growing on the water line. The tree root is pushing the water line so much that the root has begun growing around the water line. Cut out and removed failed section of water pipe. Installed 2 1” PEX 90°s to move the waterline out of the way of the root. Reconnected the water line via 1” PEX and 2 additional 90°s. Pressurized water system and tested for leaks. Had homeowner purge air a debris via a bathtub. Meter is now still.
Homeowner inquired about past issue with water heater. Homeowner stated that in past, water heater would code out and they would have no hot water and they experienced a similar situation this week. Technician diagnosed tankless water heater and found tankless is undersized for home. Homeowner may have the same issue going forward and technician recommended replacing tankless and/or flush. Homeowner opted to flush tankless. Technician flushed tankless, cleaned debris from water inlet screen, removed blower motor and cleaned debris out of housing and cleaned flame rods and igniter. Checked and tested for leaks and functionality.
Came here to inspect ductwork and insulation, On a 2024 Rheem heat pump and coil and a 2006 Trane furnace. The system is missing some return air, I did quote the customer to have two returns added to the kids room. He also wanted me to do a quick inspection on the furnace. The only thing I found was a dirty blower wheel, dirty outdoor coil and the drain line was connected with the pump in the basement. I did quote to have those things fixed. He also signed up for our home care program.
On today’s visit advance is having issues with inconsistent, hot water throughout his home. Whenever he’s taking a shower in the master bathroom and another fixture is running he instantly loses hot water to the shower. As I was inspecting the plumbing that was installed in the home that was built in 2023, I isolated the return line of the recirculating pump to identify if that is the issue of causing inconsistent, hot water with the swing check valves if they are operating properly. I deduced that that is the issue that the circulating pump and check valves are the issue. I replaced the recirculating pump and check valves that are spring loaded and work more efficiently than swing check valve. I turned the water back on to the house to test all the fixtures are getting consistent hot water. After checking everything that is working properly of supplying hot water consistently this has solved the issue. We are all set here for today and if he has any other questions he’s going to h
We wired in and installed (1) 240v 30 amp circuit for the sauna heater and controls. We installed conduit coming down the basement wall and into a junction box to be able to covert over to thwn wiring. We installed seal tight along the sauna and installed the control panel on the outside and another whip inside to the heater. We wired a 120v 20 amp circuit over to the basement exterior wall and installed a receptacle for the lighting. We supplied and installed a breaker for the heater and a duel function 15 amp for the lighting. We tested everything to ensure it is working.
Homeowner inquired about leak underneath sink. After further, the diagnosis technician discovered garbage disposal was leaking. Homeowner also inquired about toilet not flushing properly. Technician installed new garbage disposal and new flush tower for toilet. As a courtesy technician installed fill valve. Checked and tested for functionality and leaks.
Came out for a leaking duct issue. Customer was experiencing water build up around some supply registers upstairs. Looked over the hvac equipment a found there is no discharge air sensor. This sensor controls the air supply temp and cycles off the compressor if the air supply temp goes too low. There is also no humidity control so this combination of cold air temps and no humidity control can result in water forming on registers. There was one area with no hvac equipment present so it was recommended a roofer come evaluate that area. Gave the customer a few options to fix the humidity issue from upgrading thermostats with humidity control and adding the discharge sensor to installing a complete ducted dehumidifier with its own humidistat. Customer signed up for homecare plan and will consider his options moving forward.
I was here a week ago, troubleshooting a dishwasher and disposal, not working. During my troubleshoot I found out I could not remove the dishwasher due to how the flooring was laid. The customer had someone remove the dishwasher and I was able to finish my diagnosis. The connection point had a loose neutral which had burned up. Also, the wire going to the disposal was a 14 gauge wire on a 20 amp circuit we redid the connection for the dishwasher and added a cord to it. We redid the outlet inside the sink cavity so that the dishwasher and disposal could both be plugged in. The dishwasher and disposal are both not working.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot breakers that were repeatedly tripping. After diagnosing the issue, determined that the affected breakers were part of the known failed Eaton CH breaker generation. Provided the customer with options and a quote to replace the defective breakers. Upon customer approval, removed and replaced the failed breakers with new units. Tested all affected circuits and verified proper operation. All breakers are functioning correctly, and the electrical system is operating as intended
No cool whole home. 2nd opinion on failed compressor. Previous company stopped communicating with customer. Found 2017 Lennox 4 ton zoned single stage ac and furnace. Disconnect was missing from outdoor disconnect. Located inside electrical panel of outdoor unit. Upon inspection found system to have a locked compressor. Compressor would attempt to run then quickly hit LRA and shut down, fan would operate. Checked capacitor, contactor. Ohmed and megohmed compressor out finding compressor fails all megohm tests indicating windings have failed in compressor however they are not shorted. Ac is dirty, contactor burnt, systems lacks a wet switch and blower capacitor is weak as well. Explained to customer everything going on with equipment and that this being single stage equipment with zoning causes premature failures. Explained that variable speed/modulating equipment is the only equipment designed to handle zoning properly due to its ability to modulate speed with need. Informe
Relocate and replace water heater with 65 gallon hybrid water heater. Eliminate water lines and gas lines where current water heater is. Open ceiling in garage and new water line from current water heater location to new water heater location.
One year part warranty on compressor only. There is no warranty on existing equipment. Customer understands that the current setup is not designed properly as it is single stage with zoning. Per customers request we are going to lock open zone dampers so that the zoning is disabled. Main floor thermostat will control entire system function. Basement level thermostat will be nonfunctional, but will remain in place. Customer understands that this is an immediate/temporary repair until he is ready to replace with a variable speed zone system. Came back on 07/14/26 to replace the main floor system compressor and capacitor. Properly replaced the compressor and capacitor. Added a bi-flow filter drier. There was not installed. Pulled down to 540 microns vacuum. Refilled up to 10 lbs of R-410A to bring pressures to normal with 10 degrees subcool 87 degrees ambient temperature 20 degrees delta T. Per customer request, I should eliminate 1 zone and have system only working from 1 thermost
