Job Locations and Reviews
Customer called us out for a clog in the garbage entry bathroom. It was also water was also accumulating from the upstairs master bathroom as well. Under the crawlspace I the garage it was clear water had been escaping from the flange. I set an appointment with remediation and a sewer supervisor for the customer. Customers kitchen sink is also piped incorrectly and has no vent. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the toilet pulled and the line cleared and a bottle of Endure for drain maintenance. I removed the toilet and the flange repair ring was not screwed in correctly. I ran my cable down the line until it cleared. I then secured the flange repair ring and reset the toilet. Tested line throughly and reset the toilet. I did not caulk the line due to the sewer supervisor.

Today ww came out to finish hanging a third pendant light over the kitchen island
Great experience start to finish.
Water in drain pan. Drain line is connected to secondary drain line , in the drain pan and clogged. I found the old min drain line for the system and connected drain line to it. Drain line is clear and draining properly. Also, system is low on Freon , evaporator coil starting to freeze over and very rusted. Heat exchanger has some heavy hot spots and compromised. Sent estimates to replace evaporator coil and heat exchanger, but, at this age (16 years old) and conditions, the best option would be to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Also, house is to humidity upstairs. New system will probably help with lower humidity level upstairs. Set a lead to quote upgrading, for the upstairs system, for today. We should credit back 287,00 spent today, if customer replace the system with us.
Pleasant and most. helpful. I will use your company again and would like to be serviced by Devin
We replaced three lights in the main floor hallway
For this job the customer stated he had a leak on the main service line near the penetration. Upon arrival the area in question was already dug up and a pvc to pex transition was exposed. The pex penetrating the wall was not the correct type nor had a protective covering around it. I explained to the homeowner it was done incorrectly and would recommend replacing the old pvc service line and locate the pressure regulator. However, the customer stated he was only interested in a spot repair. I explained to the customer I couldn’t warranty my work which he agreed too. The old transition was removed and the appropriate pvc to pex adapter was glued on. I then connected to the existing pex and let sit for 1 hour. The home was then pressurized and checked for leaks and proper function.
Came out today to remove customers 50 gallon water heater that was atmospherically vented through the side of the home. Unit contained multiple code violations. Replaced unit with a 50 gallon power vent unit which high efficiency and used a style of vent that is able to be discharged via the side wall of the home. Unit was installed in a pan with a water alarm. Installed copper piping off of the unit with a new shut off valve for the unit and a new expansion tank mounted to a bracket. Installed a new sediment trap, gas fittings, shut off valve and gas whip. Ran sch 40 pvc from the unit to the exterior of the home. Restored water to the home and ihnighted the unit. Unit was set to 120 degrees. Removed 3 gas valves from fixtures in the back yard and capped off the gas line as they weren’t to code. Painted caps/pipes to prevent rusting. All work was tested and installed to code compliance.

We applied a repair ring, reset the toilet and flushed multiple times to ensure no leakage. Shut off water supply to fixture, remove all fluid from fixture, remove china caps and bolts from fixture, pull water closet from base, clean flange and inspect for damage, set new wax gasket on flange, install new nylon bolts, reset wc on flange and tighten bolts, install new supply line shim to prevent wc from rocking, finish with hygienic seal at base, allow wc to seal for 4 hours before use, test and clean up work area. Flange replacement on existing toilet. Chip and clear away existing flange and debris from drain pipe. Install new flange and secure to floor.
Came out to troubleshoot a GFCI outlet in the kitchen and found that the GFCI had been damaged by a surge. Provided a quote to replace the GFCI, and with customer approval, replaced the outlet and tested the circuit. Everything is working properly at this time. Also recommended a whole-home surge protector and a service upgrade. Customer will consider the recommendations and let us know.
Troubleshoot tripped breaker.
Customer had several pin holes on 40+ years copper, we fixed the active pin holes and replaced with PEX piping, and copper piping on top of water heater. Also gave price to replace all copper piping in the basement/garage, all piping is exposed and with a lot of signs of corrosion. All work done today was tested no issues. Thank you for choosing and trusting TE with your plumbing needs!
No Cool - Main Floor Will return 2-5 pm to complete the troubleshooting Returned and checked both upstairs and main floor AC operations. Main floor is cooling with a 20+ degree temperature drop and upstairs is cooling with a 17 to 19° temperature drop. Pressure for both systems look good. Both systems lack adequate flood protection. Both systems could benefit from indoor air quality enhancements. Both systems outer fan motors are over camping, which is likely due to the buildup that’s on both condenser coils.
TE dispatched their technician Jeffrey Phung within 30 minutes of an emergency phone call. He completed his troubleshooting and made his recommendations. He discovered some additional underlying issues that could have resulted in significant damage to our home from fire. We would never have known until it was too late. Jeff documented the repair plan, gave us several options, and discussed the benefits of each option. Once we approved the work Jeff worked nonstop for 12 hours to complete the job. He is knowledgeable and a consummate professional. We will use TE in the future and request Jeff to do the work.
Replaced toilet and water valve. Raised flange as a courtesy. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
No Cool - Main Floor System The compressor capacitor was completely dead and the outdoor fan motor capacitor was very low. The only thing getting the system to run periodically was the hard start that was tied to the compressor. The condenser coil was heavily impacted as well as the blower wheel, they both need to be clean. The heat exchanger is cracked in multiple areas and is a health hazard to operate the heat for this particular furnace. The system has poor flood protection. The settlement trap is improper. Due to the age condition and lack of maintenance as well as cost of the repairs I strongly recommend looking into options to replace before any major repairs. Great service. The 2 guys that have been to my house could not have been any nicer. Very personable.
We will replace the old switches in the basement
For this job, I conducted leak detection service for homeowner as a TGL for original technician Corey Strickland. During my investigation, we drain the water down from the entire home, and introduce compressed air onto the plumbing system. Once there was introduced on the system, I listened from the meter through the yard across the driveway and into the garage where I discovered the leak Between the garage and the water heater under the foundation coming up through before feeding the water heater.
Blake worked very hard to figure out where the mysterious leak was coming from. And he gave me options on how to take care of it.
Set my expectations and delivered.
