No Cool - 2022 Trane System Found system low on refrigerant. Tracked down refrigerant leak to indoor coil. Created estimate to replace coil and sent to customer. Plan is to replace coil on Monday.
Homeowner called us out due to water dripping from ceiling after daughter’s lavatory sink overflowed. Homeowner subsequently turned the water off, and the water subsided around the same time. I cut a section of the ceiling open to check below the bathroom. I cleaned and unclogged the pop up assembly and p-trap of the upstairs sink to allow it to properly flow. Ran the water and there was water escaping from the visible drains.
For this job, I installed three new shut offs under the kitchen sink, replaced both basket strainers and tubular drain piping. While I was here the customer showed me a toilet which was making noise when flushed. The customer opted to go with the minor rebuild to replace all of the components inside the toilet. Once complete I tested everything and cleaned up. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Jeremiah did an amazing job! He listened to every one of our concerns and answered every one of our questions. He was meticulous and made sure the work was professional and we were happy. Will definitely remember for future needs!
Installed return air, 300cfm in master bedroom. Checked operations. No inspection was completed for ac or furnace.
Electrical whips from the disconnect to the outdoor unit has been damaged by weather related power surge and requires replacement. A quote has been emailed to you for approval. We will have a technician obtain the whip and schedule repair. Today’s service fee will be discounted from the repair cost.
No Cool - Single System Zoning Bad compressor. Equipment is 300CFMs short on return air. Biological growth present within the air handler. Failed motorized zone damper and barometric bypass damper. Possible causes of compressor failure: -low return air -single stage system used in zone application -blower motor not moving air properly -natural ware and tear due to age a lack of maintenance *****Strongly recommend replacing over repairs*****
We installed a whole house red device by replacing and rewiring every single switch and outlet in the home. We also installed ballast bypasses in the lights in the basement. And lastly, we did a panel restoration on the main electrical panel. We rewired it replaced all of the breakers and installed a whole home surge protector.
Nate was a pleasure. He was friendly, professional and informative. Explained all situations thoroughly and did not try to up sell any services. Light installation went flawlessly.
Replaced faulty dual function breaker
Arrived on site to assist the inspector for the final inspection. The inspection failed due to only having one ground rod. I added an additional ground rod while on site. I installed an irreversible crimp on the existing ground wire. I installed two flags so the inspector would be able to find the ground rods. The inspection is scheduled for 6/1. Inspector stated that no one needed to be on site and that she is just checking the ground rods.
Replace ce fan and box
Today we came out for main level system not working 2016 Lennox 2 ton ax with matching furnace. Cycled equipment from thermostat found failed duel motor starter serving compressor. Installed new duel motor starter checked all operations found system critically low on charge. After further evaluation client has leak in evaporator coil. Explained to client these C coils are notorious for leaks. In addition client has minimal flood protection and condenser coil is impacted. Due to age of builder grade equipment scheduled project manager to give options on updating ac and coil.
For this job the customer stated that they had a leak coming from the kitchen sink. Further investigation showed that there were two different leaks, one coming from the master trap and a smaller one coming from the disposal. I informed the customer of my findings and the customer agreed to replacing both the master trap as well as the disposal. The old disposal was unplugged from the air switch and removed and the master trap was also removed. After replacement I ran the sink for approximately 10 minutes and filled the sink two different times. Everything drained appropriately and no leaks were observed. I then proceeded to run the dishwasher which also drained properly and showed no signs of leaking.
Drain line broken at coil from tension. An issue that just happened within the last 24 to 48 hours. Necessary repairs made with approval. Tension relieved. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Upon arrival, we met with the property owner. The tenants reported the kitchen sink began draining slow about two weeks ago. He had taken apart the p-trap and disposal but found the issue is farther in the drain. In the crawlspace, the 2” PVC transitions to 3”, runs independently and ties into the sewer main before exiting the front of the home. He also mentioned one of the couplings on the drain in the cabinet was leaking. We went over the options and they approved to snake and re-pipe the drain in the cabinet. We cut the drain out first, installed a new stack and santee with a cleanout and a new studor vent. We ran the 400 cable several times and were able to clear the blockage but did find there is grease in the lines. For long term resolution we advise either hydrojetting or replacing the drain in the crawlspace to eliminate the grease.
Came out for an inspection because the breaker for the AC unit was constantly tripping. 2022 Carrier System. Breaker was tripped when I arrived. Checked the outdoor electrical and refrigerant pressures. Inspected breaker and AC Disconnect. Monitored running and startup amps on both compressor and fan. The compressor was pulling 89amps on startup, which is over the rated amps on the data plate. Breaker was also warm and not the correct brand. Outdoor coil needs cleaned as well. Gave the customer his options and he chose to only replace breaker and add hard start kit. Breaker was replaced with Squared D 25amp two pole. Hard start kit was added and startup amps was rechecked and now reads 39 amps on start up. Changed 16x25x1 filter as a courtesy since the customer did not have any and the filter needed changed.
Installed a new customer supplied ceiling fan. We removed the existing ceiling fan. We installed a new ceiling fan rated box. I discussed other safety concerns throughout the home with the homeowner. She is going to make a list of items she wants to get taken care of and then call us back.
For this job the customer wanted to replace their old electric water heater with a new one as well as bring the pressure of the home down to 60psi from 120psi. The old water heater was turned off at the panel and drained down. While the old heater was draining I replace the pressure regulator with a new dual chamber regulator and set the pressure to 60 after work was completed. The new heater was plumbed in according to code and will be waiting inspection next week. All work was tested for leaks and proper function.
Upon inspection, noticed furnace power switch had failed. Replaced with approval. Due to the age and condition, the decision was made to also speak with a project manager about a more efficient system. System currently operational. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Installed 4 wafers on existing switch but had to run a new switch leg. Added surge protection to panel
We have had a few services with TE Certified now and each time has been a great experience. Prices are reasonable, and service is fast and professional.
Arrived on site to remove EV charger from its current location. The homeowners are moving to Peachtree City in the coming weeks. They are taking the existing charger with them. We installed a junction box and capped off the wires. I discussed some issues with the electrical panel with the homeowners. The fixes require us to turn power off to the home for an hour. The homeowner has a meeting so we will perform the work at a different time. Everything is working properly.
Upon arrival, the homeowner requested their tankless water heater be serviced and flushed. During initial inspection, I found a few incorrect installations with the tankless. I flushed the and serviced the tankless, as well as replaced the condensate line from pex to cpvc, capped the recirc line from the tankless which was tied into the cold line and installed the correct expansion tank for a tankless. I also installed an inline Halo water conditioner to inhibit and dissolve future scaling within the tankless. All work was tested and checked for leaks
Ran two dedicated circuits to kitchen and added dual function breakers. Relocated one outlet and box. Blanked off hole.
Navien tankless water heater was leaking condensation from the exhaust vent pipe. I checked the fittings on the exhaust and found a coupling installed without glue and almost completely separated. The collar on the top of the heater was also not secured. I removed the reducer fitting and the pipe from the top of the water heater. I installed a new reducer and a new piece of pipe secured to the collar on the heater. I ran the unit after I completed my work and found no leaks or faults. The unit is currently operating normally and without issue. I dried up all water on and in the unit and cleaned it as well as I could. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Homeowner stated add on bedroom to house is not cooling down that part it won’t get down to set temp. System in question is a carrier ducted mini split cassette located underneath back deck in crawl space Checked the filter which is 16x25x1 and it was in very bad shape. Changed filter and ran system Checked refrigerant and temp split inside which were both good after filter change thank you for choosing TE Certified!
2 system inspection completed Checked capacitors Checked refrigerant Checked filters Cleared drain lines No flood protection -Upstairs system has secondary drain running from coil into pan instead of safety. One return duct is collapsed a bit Furnace has a lot of rust caused by water from secondary drain Duct board plenums on both systems very dirty Blower wheels dirty All capacitors a little weaker than spec Main floor system is low on refrigerant/possible leak Discussed all options with homeowner which we set up an appt for project manager to come out next Tuesday to go over some quotes for new equipment. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Could I have hung 4 ceiling fans and added another outlet to my kitchen island myself? Yes, but having TE do the work meant it was done quickly and cleanly and I didn’t have multiple trips to Home Depot. The price seemed reasonable but I didn’t shop around and I’ve not hired anyone for these things in years. I’m glad I used your company as the work is done, it was done well and my home is all the better for it.
Very Professional and Did a great job . We are grateful and thankful for the great job he did!
I called and was able to schedule an estimate for the same day. They arrived on time, provided the estimate and completed the work in an hour. The quoted price was much lower than other bids I had received.
Every TE Certified Tech for Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC that we have met have all been kind, courteous, knowledgeable and did an excellent job! Pricing cost may seem high, but you get what you pay for and peace of mind knowing job is done correctly!
Our insurance company wanted me to hire a plumber to find the source of our slow leak in the kitchen. The dispatcher worked hard to help me with my schedule to find same day service since I had standing water. I was grateful for that. The plumbers found the leaking from my refrigerator helping me to get immediate mitigation started. I’m very impressed with the company and the plumbers that they sent.
Terrific!
I just bought a 4 year old house and you would think everything would be alright. Well, there are issues and I am thankful that Rusty found things I wasn't aware of. Obviously the previous owners didn't use TE Certified. I used them at my last house and was always very happy with the service.
Great job. Friendly, had all the parts and fixed the issue on Saturday before I have to go out of town. Will be using this company from now on.
Agustin and his associate Alex arrived exactly on schedule to perform hardware remodeling and replacement work in our main bath. All the work was completed beautifully in the timeframe quoted. We cannot say enough about how friendly, efficient and knowledgeable Agustin was to work with. We can be a bit picky about design features but this project was a breeze. Agustin totally understood the hardware design we were looking for. He researched, found lovely coordinating hardware for each of the three installation sights. In addition , both gentlemen were so very careful to protect the property as they moved through the project. This was a really excellent experience.
Everything from a seasonal check to the seasonal maintenance needs and extended coil. Cleaning has been outstanding.
Excellent service
Agustin addressed our issue with expert knowledge and efficiency. The experience was seemless. He was knowledgeable and experienced with this problem and worked with us so efficiently to make decisions required to proceed with the necessary repairs. We need to add that his friendly persona makes him a joy to work with.
Jr Dean was here for my annual plumbing inspection. While he was doing that, he discovered that a toilet was loose, which it had been for a long time. He was able to fix the problem that no other plumber could fix in 11 years!
