Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics: found the outdoor unit has a failed capacitor. The capacitor has already been replaced. With the homeowners permission I installed a new capacitor and got the unit running. I checked the refrigerant pressures. I checked amps and voltage. I checked the air filter. I found the refrigerant pressures are ok but the compressor sounds horrible. It appears that the previous company installed a bad compressor or installed the compressor with contaminated refrigerant. System operates on R410a which is now obsolete. The system is temporarily running; homeowner may want to consider replacing the AC and coil (furnace is new). I advised the homeowner that if she purchases a new system within 5 days from today from TE certified that we will roll the money spent today (397$) towards to costs of the new unit. Homeowner setup a time with an install supervisor.

No cool. Homeowner suspected system low on charge. Technician discovered broken compressor wire at contactor and broken contactor. Technician replaced contactor and system began to cool.

Replaced vanity light

Return visit for system not cooling again. Client stated it’s now the UL front dining room system. Diagnostic analysis revealed the system is operating within parameters at this time. Thermostat is set to 69 degrees and reading 69. The thermostat for the UL rear dining room is 72 degrees and set to 70 and this system does appear to have lost some of the refrigerant added recently. This system must have a leak in the line set possibly under the concrete walkway of inside the wall. We do not repair leaks under concrete or commercial building wall. This system is cooling slightly below normal parameters at this time. Checked filters and they are both slightly dirty but not clogged. These filters should be replaced monthly to void any system inefficiencies. The systems have to endure the high heat load being the upper level with large windows and no outside shade above building envelope. If the outer deck area doors are opening and closing a lot this could attribute to the system not keep

Arrived on site to upgrade the main electrical panel, install new receptacles, and install a new A/C disconnect. For the panel, we installed a new 150 amp main breaker 42 space electrical panel in the basement. This panel has all arc fault/ground fault breakers for all of the circuits. These breakers will detect loose connections in the circuits as well as ensure the power is going to where it is suppose to. These breakers are more sensitive than your standard breakers. We installed a new whole home surge protector at the new panel as well. This protects the electrical system from surges. This surge comes with a lifetime/$75,000 warranty through the manufacture. If one or both lights are off, call TE. As a part of the panel upgrade, we also installed hardwired smoke detectors in all of the bedrooms as well as on each floor. The smoke detectors in the bedrooms are standard smoke detectors, the ones in the halls and basement are carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. These are 10 year smok

Initial observations of system revealed water in the auxiliary drain pan in the attic and the outdoor disconnect was off. Turned unit on at n cool mode and system is low in refrigerant, has an airflow restriction at the evaporator coil and the outdoor coil is clogged. The dual capacitor is below tolerance and the fan motor is starting to fail. Contactor is burnt and pitted. This system is 23 years old and has expired its life expectancy. It utilizes R2s refrigerant which has been phased out and unavailable. Due to age and condition this system requires replacement in order to operate proper cooling and also reduce the risk of water damage on your ceiling when coil freezes and thaws or drain backs up and overflows pan.

Today I came out to replace a non-functioning GFCI outlet in the backyard. When I pulled out the outlet, I saw they had run Romex type wire in the conduit, running down the side of the house, feeding the outlet. I removed this and mounted a junction box where the wire exited the house, transitioned to UF type wire, and ran new pipe down the wall to a new box, whether rated outlet, and bubble cover.

Outdoor wired incorrectly are recent components were replaced. Performed low voltage repair and recommend looking into replacement options The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system runninSewrwxrg today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

For this job, we replaced multiple outlets which were old. We also installed a new circuit in the garage for an air fryer.

Customer stated gfci in garage was constantly tripping. Determined the gfci was bad, replaced the gfci and the other outlets on that circuit with spot gfci at each location.

Upon arrival, we met with the owner. Two months ago, one of our techs cleared a sewer branch from the upstairs guest closet flange. Today, the same line is clogged as well as the downstairs guest bathroom. The plumbing is visible in the basement. Both groups tie together at a wye, run towards the kitchen and exit the home. Neither are affecting each other. The downstairs group cleared on its own and we were able to run all fixtures downstairs. We removed the toilet upstairs with a supervisor on site. We were able to clear the blockage upstairs and have a camera inspection done. We reset the toilet, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors at this time. Shut off water supply to fixture, remove all fluid from fixture, remove china caps and bolts from fixture, pull water closet from base, clean flange and inspect for damage, perform drain clearing operation using specialty drain clearing equipment specifically designed for

Replace outdoor gfci and bonding gas line

Upon arrival, we met with the owner. The washer drain upstairs is backing up and leaking downstairs. The appliances were shut off and pulled out when we arrived. The condensate from the HVAC above is tied into the standpipe for the washer. We ran a cable through the line several times in order to restore flow. The washer was not functioning for us to test so I ran the hot supply directly down the drain to test and check for leaks or errors. At this time, the line is open and flowing. Perform drain cleaning for laundry drain with cable machine. Drain cleaning only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.

Replace broken hose bib and replaced gate valve with new ball valve. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.

One system home care Necessary repairs for compressor health. Performed first time home care inspection on home for hvac . The system is a 2017 model Lennox with a 80% furnace and air conditioner. The furnace is 90 k and the ac is a 3 ton. Filter size 16x25x1 . During inspection I did notice that the coil outside was in need of cleaning and also the contactor had noticeable wear. Also there isn’t a wet switch for the aux pan . I cleaned the coil and replaced the contactor. Tested work after installation everything was working properly.

For this job, I returned to complete the work which was approved yesterday. I removed 3 price pfister avante style cartridges, and replaced all three with new cartridges to fix issues with all three. Once complete I tested my work to make sure of proper function and no leaks. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Replace attic fan motor

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding the issue he is experiencing. Customer states the disposal does not work and he would like it removed and to no longer have a disposal. Customer states the dishwasher also backs up from the disposal side when draining. Presented customer with options to fix this issue and after getting signature approval began work. Removed disposal, disconnected power and used wire nuts on the end of the wires to cover and seal them. Power is also off and customer will be removing the switch for the disposal at a later time. Installed new basket strainer on the right side of the sink. Installed new dishwasher tailpiece and piped in the tubular drains into the existing end outlet waste. Once the install was completed ran water for several minutes and filled sink multiple times. No leaks. Sink is draining properly. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.

Customers had 2 hosebibs that needed to be replaced. We replaced both hosebibs and also added a new shut off valve to the front right hosebib and replaced a leaking gate valve on the front left hosebib.

For this job, upon inspection we found multiple bad cartridges to showers in home and checked that the pressure was high to the home. So for today we only replaced the water regulator because it had high water pressure to the home. The pressure and age were likely the cause of bad cartridges throughout the home. We will return tomorrow to put in the new cartridges throughout the home’s bathrooms and put on new trim for the master tub. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.

Called out for a no cool on whole home Goodman 2 1/2 ton AC from 2009. Customer stated outdoor unit was not running. Performed visual inspection. System was running, but compressor was making weird noises. Upon further inspection, I found ants in the contactor, no flood protection, rusty heat exchanger, high inrush amp draw on compressor, and dirty blower wheel. Customer agreed to go ahead with the Band-Aid option, which is the contactor. System tested, and operational upon time of leaving.

Smoke detector

For this job, I replaced the failed pressure regulator, and shut off valve. The customer also wanted the trim on the shower replaced, and tub shoe in the guest bathroom shower. During replacement we also replaced the cartridge for the shower to stop constant drip. The last item we fixed was the toilet in the same bathroom I did a minor rebuild to stop the toilet from constantly running. Once complete I tested my work, then cleaned up. Arrived on site and customer wanted to address the high water pressure coming into the home which was at 80 psi. Customer also stated possibly replacing the washer box. I provided the quote for both the PRV and washer box replacement. Customer agreed to move forward with the work , so I started by replacing the PRV, and also installed a ball valve and set the pressure to 65 psi. I also cut out the old washer box and replaced it with the new washer box. Once work was completed. I went ahead and re-pressurized the house and let the air out throughout the home. I then checked all connections made with the washer box to ensure proper functioning.
