Job Locations and Reviews
For this job, I went back to do another thorough diagnosis of a small amount of voltage that is inside the pool. After shutting off power again and disconnecting the grounding electrode and neutral conductor, voltage was still present. The customer will get in contact with his neighbors to turn their power off to see if their homes are potentially the culprit. After that the customer will most likely reach back out to have me check again.
On today’s visit, we recall out here because Joshua is having issues with the shower and the primary bathroom that is leaking. After further troubleshooting, the leak looked to be coming from the drain from the shower that connects to the shower pan fiberglass. I took apart the shower, drain and resealed it with new putty, rubber gasket, and friction ring and was still continuously leaking. There was noticeable cracks around the edges of the fiberglass pan and came to the conclusion that the shower pan fiberglass is compromised and we need to get replaced from a shower company. I did not have any recommendations of shower, paint companies, but recommended to review online for good quality craftsmanship before hiring. I did provide contact information for the drywall that was cut open in the ceiling. Thank you for choosing TE certified and have a blessed day!
Today we came out because the homeowner is doing kitchen renovations. We installed seven under cabinet lights and two Lutron caseta switches with pico remotes. We also replaced a GFI and two switches in the kitchen because the homeowner wanted everything to match with white.
I replaced an outlet in the kitchen and changed a bulb in the kitchen can.
The homeowner called us out because he was having multiple circuit trips between the kitchen countertop receptacles to the left of the range and in the media room downstairs was tripping as well, we did a basic troubleshoot to figure out what was causing the trips on both circuits, the kitchen had loose connections, and we also found a damaged receptacle. The homeowner insisted that we do nothing with it, and he would take care of it later or have us fix it after we send a quote later on and we also made sure that the connections were tight and properly secure with the rest of the outlets in the kitchen, and upon evaluating the media room there are three gaming PCs and numerous other electronic items that are on a 15 amp circuit that’s causing an overdraw of amperage in the media room initiating the trip.
3 ton Goodman whole home system from 2019 Homeowner wanted a system inspection performed Performed full system inspection, which system is running normally Heating side everything was working and found no issues Testing in cool I found refrigerant levels were not up to manufacture spec After thoroughly inspecting system, I noticed blower wheel, evaporator coil, outdoor coil could all benefit from a cleaning, which all three of these can be affecting the system and the refrigerant charge Outdoor capacitor is weak and out of spec. It is rated 45/5 and compressor side is at 39 Discussed all options with homeowner but declined at this time and wants to think about all repair repairs Informed homeowner of home care membership as well For today, homeowner was responsible for inspection fee Thank you for choosing TE certified!
No cool upstairs unit. Found 2003 Lennox 2.5 ton ac to be operational upon arrival. During inspection found capacitor was weak and compressor running over max amperage. This will cause compressor to overheat and shut down. Replaced capacitor for testing purposes and amperage improved but still running just below maximum. Compressor is tired and needs replacement. Spoke with customer about options and she decided to get quote for replacement and replace capacitor today to try and get by until system can be replaced. I informed customer there is no guarantees that will happen and system can still fail given current operating conditions with new capacitor. System getting quoted for replacement today between 9-12.
Installed a new cat 6 circuit from the low voltage panel to the back porch and installed a customer supplied wireless access point.
Customer had the flooring replaced in the half baths bathroom and the toilet flange sat too low. We cut open the drywall underneath and cut out the elbow going up to the flange . We replaced the elbow and going up to the flange and glued a new flange on with screws anchoring it to the sub floor. We installed a new angle stop as well with a new wax ring, supply line, closet bolts, and we caulked around the base of the toilet.
Upon arrival, homeowner was not here, gave us permission to enter the house. Chief complaint was of foul odor in basement. We went to the basement, found the sewage pump and tested to ensure proper drainage and working order. Only issues found were warping of the basin lid and missing cord gasket. We installed a new lid with all new hardware and gaskets. Reassembled the vent and check valve. Tested to ensure no leaks or errors. No leaks or errors at this time and pump is functioning correctly. Furnish and install new sewage ejection pump lid for existing canister. Includes removal and disposal of old lid, new lid, new seals, gaskets and bolts.
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Initial concerns regarding growth. Inspection proved that there is an extensive amount of growth in the evaporator coil cabinet. Also discussed the system not adequately cooling. Inspection revealed that the unit is cooling with only a 14° temperature split. There are major refrigerant related issues with the system. The decision was made to discuss replacement options with a project manager. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
We will replace the outdoor gfci and wire it so that I will not interfere with the bathroom outlet, which will be replaced be its own gfci.
Vincent Martinez did a fantastic job replacing my water heater and was 120% professional informative and a pleasure to meet.
Arrived on site and installed a new electric water heater in the utility room. Customer was also experiencing rattling from the PRV when water was being used. Additionally, we replaced the PRV and installed a shut off valve along with it. Lastly, customer had a kitchen faucet that was non-operational and wanted it to be replaced. Water heater has been set to 120°, pressure has been set to 60 PSI, customer supplied kitchen faucet has been installed.
Upon arrival, met with homeowner. Turned water off at the street. Removed old hose bib and gate valve. We cut and capped the half inch supply and installed a new 3/4 reducing tee, ball valve and hose bib. Tested for leaks and drips. No leaks or errors at this time. Pressure to the house is 60psi. Shut off water supply and drain down home, cut out failed hose bib, check condition of pipe for secure connections, install new adaptors, make new pipe connections, install new hose bib, pressurize system, test and clean up work area.
During today's visit, the homeowner elected to move forward with the installation of a pot filler above the stove. Upon arrival, we found that the tile and drywall had already been removed in the designated installation area. To provide a water supply for the new fixture, we created access openings in the wall separating the kitchen and garage. Two sections were opened: one near the center of the installation area and one lower in the wall. We then drilled 3/4" access holes through the wall studs to route the new water line. Before beginning any plumbing modifications, we isolated the home's water supply and completely drained the system. We tied into the existing 3/4" CPVC cold-water service line and installed a new 3/4" PEX supply line. The line was routed through the wall cavity and reduced to 1/2" PEX at the fixture location to accommodate the pot filler connection. An emergency shut-off valve was also installed inside the garage wall, providing the homeowner with convenient acce
Today we performed work on the third floor of a townhouse that is being renovated and they added a bathroom to the top floor. This was already a pre-sold job. Today we installed a vanity toilet and shut and tub and shower trim. This included the drainage, plumbing for the vanity along with the shut offs and supply lines. The faucet was customer supplied installed a flange and customer supplied toilet along with we installed. Customer supply trim. We had to turn off the water to install the shut off valves. We also caulked around all of the fixtures and let the customer know not to use them for 12 hours so the cock can dry. Thank you for choosing and trusting TE with your plumbing needs.
For this job, the customer called us out today to look at installing a ChargePoint car charger. The home already had a 40 amp outlet installed for a car charger. I installed the charger on the 40 amp circuit and set the charger to 40 amps in the app. Thank you for choosing TE Certified Electricians!
During today's visit, we spoke with the homeowner regarding a leaking hose spigot that, according to the homeowner, has been leaking for over five years. The homeowner stated that they had delayed the repair due to the cost involved. To help resolve the issue, we were able to provide a discounted repair option. After discussing the available solutions, we isolated the home's water supply and drained the affected spigot. Because the home is built on a slab foundation, the only way to fully replace the spigot would have been to access the water line through the living room wall, which would have required cutting into drywall and resulted in a more costly repair. We informed the homeowner that a rebuild of the existing spigot was a more cost-effective option. We then removed the existing internal mechanical components and rebuilt the spigot using new parts from a replacement hose bib assembly. Upon completion of the rebuild, we slowly restored water service to the home and had the homeown

Upon arrival spoke with customer about a leak in the yard. Fixed a leak on the irrigation on the first of August. This leak is roughly 20ft down stream of my previous repair and showing on both sides of the driveway. Dug up area and there was multiple irrigation lines in the area. Water stream is coming from under the driveway. Advised customer an irrigation company might be in there best interest to evaluate the system as this is the second leak in a month period.
For this job, I Removed the existing ceiling fan from the master bedroom and prepared the existing electrical box for installation of the new customer-provided ceiling fan. Upon removal of the existing fan, it was discovered that the ceiling was equipped with a fan-rated pancake box; however, the existing wiring had been brought down outside of the electrical box and was not properly routed through the box with the required plastic bushing and bonding. To correct the installation and provide a proper and secure mounting configuration, the existing pancake box was removed and the wood opening was enlarged as necessary to provide adequate clearance for the wiring and connector. The electrical box was then properly re-supported and secured, with the wiring routed correctly into the box through the appropriate connector and the box properly bonded. Following completion of the electrical box corrections and re-support, the new customer-provided ceiling fan was installed and securely m
Upon arrival we met with the homeowner who informed us when the dishwasher was used it would cause the washing machine and kitchen sink to back up. Pipework was exposed in crawlspace, with clean out next to kitchen drain. Cleared drain through crawlspace clean out. Ran sink to ensure proper flow. No further back ups at this time. We informed the homeowner that the entirety of the kitchen line is improperly graded and can lead to future issues not corrected. We provide an estimate to Repipe and correct the drain, but customer declined at this time. Perform sink drain cleaning with cable machine. Clear sink drain only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.
Performed leak search for 2016 lennox system. I checked the thermostat. I checked the electrical starting components for the outdoor unit. I inspected the outdoor condenser coil. I checked the blower wheel. I checked the blower motor capacitor. I checked the resting refrigerant pressures. I checked the blower motor. I checked the air filter. I ran the heat and verified the sequence of operations. I inspected the duct work. Findings: ***(1) major issue: The system is almost completely empty of r410 refrigerant due to a refrigerant leak. Repair estimates can't be provided until the leak has been found. Adding refrigerant to this unit with it having a large leak is not advised. Refrigerant added to this system will leak out at a fast rate!. ****A leak search is recommended to be perfomed before any repairs are made or before the system is replaced.**** Additional issuss with the system: 1) indoor capacitor is near complete failure and needs to be replaced. 2) The blower wheel is imp

Initial observations of water leak revealed the auxiliary drain pan for the ML system that TE Certified did not install overflowed due to a clogged drain line that backed up. There are no flood protection devices on this system which would have shut the system down in the event of a drain clog. The drain will require clearing, the water in pan evacuated and then I recommend adding flood protection devices to reduce the risk of this occurring again. I also observed the return plenum for this system is not attached or sealed to the furnace properly and neither systems electronic air cleaner are functioning and do not have adequate air filtration. The ML has a disposable 1” 16x25x1 filter and the UL has the existing electronic air cleaning cells that do not filter unless the unit is energized. I recommend installing proper 16x25x4 air filters in these cases to prevent the coils from getting clogged with dust. Cleared ML drain line and evacuate water from auxiliary drain pan. Added flood p
Trevor and the his partner were fantastic. Very polite, super friendly and knew what they were doing. Explained everything regarding the remote. I can't say enough about how wonderful they both were. Thank you, Rachael
He had the replacement part that we needed, on his vehicle. So he fixed our ac in one trip. He called back immediately when I had questions about pictures he had taken of readouts on our ac unit. He tried to be very patient and kind in answering my detailed questions.
He arrived right on time, explained how he would remove our Tesla charger and safely finish the wiring. He gave us a reasonable quote upfront and completed the entire job in about 30 minutes. Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Would recommend.
I can’t say enough about our experience with TE. We thought we had an HVAC issue, so we called them based on their outstanding reviews—and they absolutely lived up to them. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. They had an HVAC technician at our home the very next day. He performed a thorough inspection, diagnosed the issue, and determined we actually needed a plumber. Instead of leaving us to figure it out, he contacted the office and arranged for a plumber to come later that same day. Both technicians called when they were on their way and arrived exactly when scheduled. Jake quickly assessed the situation, clearly explained three repair options, and helped us choose the one that made the most sense for our needs. He was able to schedule the repair for the very next afternoon, and I immediately received a confirmation text. Jake arrived right on time the next day and got straight to work. He was efficient, professional, clean, and meticulous throughout the repair. When he finished, he thoroughly tested everything, walked me through the completed work, and made sure I understood exactly what had been done before I signed off. I am beyond impressed with the level of professionalism, communication, and customer service we received from start to finish. We already have future projects planned, and without a doubt, we’ll be calling TE again. Highly recommend!
Fe-Darren Hutcherson was so knowledgable on our plumbing issues and a true professional. He asked excellent questions about our water main line break. We appreciated the time he took to explain and show the steps needed to fix our plumbing issues. We highly recommend Fe-Darren for your plumbing needs.

Excellent service
A/C went out late Friday evening in mid-July. After calling many places without much success, TE returned my call and was so courteous that I cancelled another appt I had with another company. Tech was here in less than 2 hours. Turns out the condenser had a couple of fried connectors from a power surge, likely from a recent thunderstorm and power outage. Resolution was reasonably priced IMO. I will use TE Certified again.
Morty is very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable about electrical services. He’s also quite respectful and enjoyable to work with. Highly recommend Morty!

Prompt service. All options explained. Fair price and work done quickly and to satisfaction.
TE dispatched their technician Jeffrey Phung within 30 minutes of an emergency phone call. He completed his troubleshooting and made his recommendations. He discovered some additional underlying issues that could have resulted in significant damage to our home from fire. We would never have known until it was too late. Jeff documented the repair plan, gave us several options, and discussed the benefits of each option. Once we approved the work Jeff worked nonstop for 12 hours to complete the job. He is knowledgeable and a consummate professional. We will use TE in the future and request Jeff to do the work.
Great service. The 2 guys that have been to my house could not have been any nicer. Very personable.
Blake worked very hard to figure out where the mysterious leak was coming from. And he gave me options on how to take care of it.
Set my expectations and delivered.
