Job Locations and Reviews
Perform one system inspection today, tested the system and heating and cooling modes. I inspected and tested all electrical and mechanical components on the equipment today. I made recommendations to the system to improve the overall health and operation of the system. At this time, the system is operating and the homeowner is aware, there are some components that need to be addressed.
Troubleshot lights flickering for the upstairs hall and master bedroom, re twisted the hot and neutral feed in both switch boxes and put new wire nuts on the connections.
TE Certified was able to schedule me quickly given the problem I had. Jeff showed up within the scheduled time and was very communicative with the issue we are having. He clearly explained what he was doing and his findings. I am so pleased with TE Certified and Jeff. I called TE based on their Google review and they did not disappoint!!
Upon arrival, customer stated that there is a potential leak on this slab home. We attempted several different ways to diagnose and find this leak. We first started off by cutting a roughly one and 1/2’ x 1 1/2’ hole in the sheet rock directly behind the kitchen sink as most of the moisture present is within the floors of the kitchen. With that said there was moisture present, but no visible active leak. We then checked all appliances, including the refrigerator and dishwasher for any type of leak while in operation. There were no leaks the most amount of water that we found was actually underneath the flooring behind the stove as well. We also instructed the residence to not use water for 30 minutes and checked on the water usage at the meter throughout that time. It is a digital meter and did not confirm a leak. We also checked the next-door, neighbors water meter as well and there was no confirmed leak either. I have brought up with the homeowner and suggested leap detection as thei
Replaced GFCI for jacuzzi tub and installed seat outlet off GFCI protection.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about a gas line for the dryer she wanted to cap off. Upon investigation discovered the pressure reducing valve and thermal expansion tank were failed. Gave options. Removed gas whip and capped off gas line to the dryer. Drained down home, removed pressure reducing valve and installed new valve. Pressure reducing valve was set to 70psi. Removed old expansion tank, installed new tank mounted to a bracket that was mounted to the structure. Piping was insulated. All work was tested for leaks and functionality.
Opened ceiling to expose leak. Found that the leak was coming from either the shower pan or the door. Ran both fixtures on the area, no leaks found. Suggest contacting a contractor to address the grout and shower door. Thermal expansion tank is failed and must be replaced. Water heater is well outside of its lifespan. Suggest replacement to avoid hot water interruption. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Buyers Home Inspection
Ricky was very polite and explained the steps he was taking to fix my needed repairs. I am very pleased with his work. He was also very net, and was sure to clean up the work area after completing the service. I assured him I would call on TE Certified Plumbing when I need other repairs. I will also consider TE Certified if I need electrical work or a new heating and cooling system.
After arriving at the homeowner’s residence to perform a comprehensive plumbing inspection, we thoroughly evaluated the entire system. Following the inspection, we compiled a detailed list of all identified plumbing concerns and reviewed each item with the homeowner. Once the homeowner selected the services she wished to proceed with, we began the approved work, starting with flushing the water heater. After completing the service, we verified that all components were operating properly and efficiently. Additionally, we provided the homeowner with emailed estimates outlining various options for addressing the remaining recommended repairs.
For this job, I installed two new outlets in the bathroom and relocated a switch in the bathroom. I installed one outlet for the bidet and one for a towel warmer
Replaced customer supplied disposal for right side kitchen sink. Also replaced the ice maker supply valve, box and supply line. All work was tested and checked for leaks
Upon arrive I installed 2 solar powered cameras
For this job, the customer had one main issue, which was a leak coming from an old ice maker line which was cut, and the shut off valve did not shut off all the way. With the amount of damage in the basement we checked around the house, and found another leak under the guest bathroom sink, and the house is piped with grey poly. We gave options on those items, and referred property medics over to evaluate the damage. The customer only wanted the shut off capped off in this visit. We emailed the other options over for the future. Once complete we tested the cap we installed for leaks, no issues found with cap. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Tech was out for no cooling for main level. Customer wanted both systems inspected Main level . System has no emergency drain pan under system. No flood protection. Evaporator coil has biological growth needing evaporator coil cleaning along with UV light. Blower is needing to be cleaned. Furnace has rust in cabinet where water has been leaking. Check pressure and found system low on Freon. Tech checked for leaks with electrical leak detector. Was getting small hits but no accurate enough to verify. Need to perform a nitrogen isolation test to pin point where leak is coming from. Condenser is needing a chemical cleaning. Need an electrician to come out and run new electrical wire from furnace to light switch . Upstairs level. Troubleshoot why 2 outdoor outlets lost power.
2 system Homecare completed. Checked and changed filters. Checked capacitors. Flushed drain lines. Checked pan safety which was not working for upstairs system. Checked refrigerant levels. Refrigerant for main floor was fluctuating bad. Determined a bad txv causing the issue. Discussed options with homeowners in which we replaced non working float switch with new wet switch and added wet switch to main floor system as well. He was quick, respectful, patient and took the time to explain everything and give me all my options. The work met my expectations and the process was easy.
Added a ground bar in the panel to ,I’ve all the grounds to. Separated neutrals, so that each neutral has its own slot. I ran a piece of #4 ground from the neutral bar to the ground bar because this is a main breaker panel. I added a connector to some wires that were missing a connector. Replaced 2 Siemens breakers either ge breakers because it is a ge panel. I fixed a double tapped breaker by pig tailing the wire in the panel. I added surge protection off of the dryer breaker. Finally I replaced the washer outlet wi5 a GFCI outlet. Everything is working properly.
Customer called us out for a clog in the master bathroom shower. On arrival I removed the shower cover and it was filled with hair. I recommended clearing the drain, running a tub gun down the line and a bottle of Endure for the kitchen sink. Customer agreed. I removed the hair with a pick and ran the tub gun down the line. I then cleaned up the drain and cover and tested throughly. Everything was working well. I then treated the kitchen sink with Endure.
Costumer called us for a leak on her ceiling on the outside storage room where she had past issues with freezing pipes for hose bibs, cut the ceiling open and saw that the actual issue was coming from a vent that is not properly sealed coming from the roof, recommended calling a roofer to get that taken care of!
Upon arrival spoke with customer about a leak one the washing machine valve. Water was off to home upon arrival. Washer was being fed off boiler drains on the water lines and draining into an 1.5 in pvc line terminating into the back yard. Advised customer I would not be able to warranty any repairs as I could not bring it up to code with the status of the drain. Gave options. Installed a new washer box, ran water lines to the box, mounted/insulated piping and connected new washer machine with stainless hoses provided. Water was restored and work was tested.
Called out for a back up. Master shower was backed up. Ran sewer machine throughout line to clear it blockage was hair and calcium Guest toilet was backed up ran cable through toilet break up and clear line blockage was waste and tissue. I was called out to Kelly’s house to replace the master heat exchanger and perform the Homecare maintenance. During the evaluation we discovered the ac for the main, master, and upstairs needed cleaned which we did, we replaced the air filters, but otherwise the systems are working well. The generator part attached to the master system looks to be malfunctioning because the light was staying off even when power was being supplied. We will set up an appointment for a generator tech to come out to fix the issue.

Garrett did a great job. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the scope of his work. He even showed me several photos of the process.
Technician performed the job of an electrician, but was lacking in the love your home experience. He exhibited a lack of self-awareness for items in the home that resulted in him once placing a ladder on an expensive jump rope, creating two holes in the wall and how to cavalier attitude like this was unavoidable. The job required two days which was not an issue, but the lack of transparency when he first arrived explaining what was gonna take place was not in line from previous experiences. I will be reconsidering using the service in the future, as I felt like not every employee shares the company vision.

We had an emergency the day before Thanksgiving when we found a water leak in our basement ceiling. TE was quick to help and had Cory to our house in 2 hours. Cory was professional and quick to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. I had never heard of or used TE before, but their rating on Google (5-star with over 6k reviews) made them an easy choice and my first call. No one likes plumbing issues, but if it happens to you, they should be your first and only call.
