Arrived on site and met with customer who stated when the water department came out to change the meter , they mentioned he had a water leak . Upon my inspection we located a small amount of water in the meter box , so I tested the shut offs to determine the issue. I discussed the options with the homeowner and so we agreed to have me dig up in front of the meter to locate the possible leak . While digging up in front of the meter. There was a pre existing capped line which had snapped during my initial dig about 2 inches below the grass line . Once I made that repair on the cap line , I was able to continue digging in front of the meter, which I was then able to put eyes on the problem. The main line coming off of the meter had failed and was causing a drip to occur . Customer then decided to move forward with the fix starting from the meter nipple and its Checkvalve, and the failed connection. Once made the fix , I then pressurized the system to ensure no other issues on the line occ

Full system for main, added 2 supplies, 1 return and spliced a supply ran by the homeowner.

Installed customer supplied faucets in the kitchen, main level powder room, and upstairs hall bathroom. After installing I checked for leaks, no leaks are present.

For this job, the customer has heard from other neighbors about pressure issues, and issues with the water heater. After diagnosis I found the pressure was over 100 psi with a builder grade Wilkins installed, and a failed expansion tank. The customer opted to replace the regulator, and expansion tank. Troubleshoot why the vent hood has lost power.

Over the last two days I completed the “ rough in” portion of a basement finish. We installed the boxes and wiring for 37 new outlets, 15 new switches controlling 21 total new lights, all on a total of seven new circuits. We installed a new subpanel in the basement fed from the main panel on a 100 amp breaker.

Troubleshoot on Generac power pact standby generator

Adjusted scald guards for showers to allow more hot water. Had customer test the temperature at both showers before leaving. Customer was good with temperature.

Called out to complete sold work for installment of expansion tanks for two tankless water heaters and a pull and reset on a toilet. Began by shutting off water to the home draining the system. Once system was drained Installed new shut off and mini expansion tank for both the tankless water heater in the garage and in the walk-in attic upstairs. Once work was complete re-introduced water to the system and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Also did a pull and reset on a toilet in the master bathroom due to one of the bolts being broken. Front of the flange was in good condition to replace the bolts with a new wax ring and reset the toilet. Once the toilet was set, tested for leaks and functionality. Replace faulty breakers

During our visit, a new 50 gallon electric water heater was installed. The old 40 gallon was removed and hauled away. An additional anode rod was added to extend the manufacturer warranty to a total of 10 years. The old gate valve main shutoff was also removed and a ball valve was installed. Each fixture was purged. Came to residence today for installation of new sauna circuit in the basement for new sauna

Performed flush/descale on navien tankless unit upstairs. Replace shower cartridge in son’s bathroom upstairs and tub spout in daughter’s bathroom upstairs. Replaced cpvc and sharkbite section of piping for tankless with copper fittings. Installed new halo Ion water condition on cold inlet side of tankless. This helps prevent scale build up. Replaced PRV and set pressure to 68 psi Return visit will be needed to replace tub faucet with customer supplied faucet Tested work and everything is working as it should at this time. Water leak in the yard in front of the home. We found and turned off the irrigation main shutoff near the meter to ensure that this was not and irrigation leak. We excavated roughly 3’ fro, the homes foundation and found a cracked 3/4 pvc coupling. We also found what appears to be an irrigation line in the area, as well as another pvc line that was broken and filled with dirt. This is presumably an old line that is no longer in service. We performed a roughly 12”spot repair using pvc to copper adapters and type L copper piping. We restored water and had the customer purge air from the waterlines by running interior fixtures. The meter’s flow indicator is no longer turning when water is not in use. Leak has been repaired. We left the irrigation valve turned off at the customer’s request.

Troubleshoot, switch replacement, panel restoration, and install whole home surge protection

Call delta address issue with toilet running in main floor powder room. Found that the flapper was not fully sitting. Gave the homeowner options for full replacement or just to do a minor rebuild on the toilet. Homeowner agreed to do a minor rebuild and work with started. Began by shutting off water supply to toilet and removing old fill valve, flapper, and supply line. Replaced with new fill valve, flapper, and new supply line. Once all work was complete re-introduced water to the toilet and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Advised the homeowner that the water heater was over 12 years old and would potentially need to be replaced due to them selling the home. Gave the homeowner different options for a water heater replacement. Homeowner will review and call to schedule when ready to move forward. Customer stated that the valve stop for the dishwasher was not functioning. I went ahead and provided the customer with options to replace just the washer valve as well as the other two valves in the kitchen sink. Customer agreed to have them all replaced, which I went ahead and proceeded with the work. Once all valves were removed and replaced, I went ahead and tested my work area by pressurizing the house and running water to ensure issues.
