Ran new water lines for whole home. Installed a tankless water heater in the ADU . And also installed two gas water heaters in the basement . Ran a new recirculating line from the heater to the furthest fixture and back to the heater. Shower valves were not replaced, but discussed and quoted to replaced. Most lines in home have been capped off , until vanities are set and finished walls and flooring have been completed. Will return Monday to finish running insulation and guards throughout home , as well as any other final touches.

Performed leak search and cut drywall in downstairs bathroom ceiling. Determined leak was coming from jack and Jill bathroom moen shower cartridge. Replaced moen shower cartridge and tested, no more leaks present at this time.

Customer called about water damage in ceiling under a jack and Jill bathroom. TE arrived and inspected area with water damage. Leak is located near tub and toilet. Prepped area and cut ceiling. Found water damage on joist adjacent to 3x2 wye. Filled tub half way and drained while flushing toilet. Did not find any water leaking out. Inspected trim and caulking in bathroom. Found some cracks in between the caulking sealing the tile to tub. Poured water on crack and water leaked through. Water seeped through and come out under sub floor. Tested toilet wax ring and found no leaks.

Replaced 50 gallon gas water heater in the backyard utility closet. Installed expansion tank and secured to the structure of the closet.

Customer called about a leaking garbage disposal. TE arrived and inspected unit. Advised to replace. Disconnected and hauled off old disposal and collar. Furnished and installed a new 1/2HP garbage disposal. Tested for leaks.

Mini Jett to remove grease buildup. Sewer supervisor visit scheduled Came out to Reclear blockage in kitchen sink that we cleared 2 days ago. Blockage came back into home. Ran flex shaft again but it did not clear blockage. Customer decided to go with option to mini jett kitchen line since cable did not work. Used mini camera to help navigate jetter hose. We were able to remove majority of grease. Was able to restore flow. Ran kitchen sink for over 30 minutes, no signs of system backing up. Upon investigating, we saw camera emerge into water over 5-10ft from kitchen drain. Sewer supervisor scheduled to investigate further.

I installed a homeowner provided Emporia hardwired charger. We ran a new dedicated 60 amp circuit through the garage and into the panel in the basement. The basement and attic furnace circuits were moved over to the sub panel to make space for the new car charger. The charger was installed, plugged in and tested and is working perfectly. We also replaced two sticky back stabbed switches, an outdoor Gfci and bubble cover, and two outdoor outlets and a new bubble cover behind the fountain.

Dug up leak in yard. Found sharkbite reducer that had broke and was leaking. Cut out section of pipe and replaced

Today we came out due to main level system’s thermostat was blank. System is a 2017 Rheem furnace located in basement closet servicing main and basement levels. I found a blown 3 amp fuse on control board inside of furnace. This was caused by a bad contactor located in the outdoor unit. Installed a new contactor and fuse and system kicked on and started cooling. Condenser coils and blower wheel are impacted with debris. After going over all findings and options, customer has agreed to do option A today and I will return next Tuesday to complete the cleanings. Performed major rebuild on toilet and reset toilet with new wax ring. Installed new straight stop and supply line. Flushed several times and tested toilet with dye.

Arrived on site to provide a quote for the installation of landscape lighting. After reviewing the scope of work, the customer approved the estimate, and the installation was completed as requested.   Upon completion, all newly installed landscape lights were thoroughly tested and verified to be operating properly.   A complete electrical evaluation was also performed. During the inspection, it was noted that the existing electrical panel is at full capacity and contains mismatched breakers. A panel replacement was recommended to improve safety, provide additional circuit capacity, and ensure the electrical system meets current standards. The customer was informed of these findings and the recommendation for future consideration.

Customer called us out for a loud banging when the ejector pump activated in the basement. I tested the pump and when it shut off it would bang indicationg an issue with the check valve. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the ball check valve combo replaced and the pump cleaned and a bottle of Endure for drain maintenance. I removed the lid and the gasket was completely destroyed. I then removed the pump and cleaned it and stuff out of the tank. I then cut off the old check valve, installed the pump, set the lid, screwed the lid, and installed the new check ball valve combo. Tested for leaks and function. When I installed the lid I added a large amount of silicone to seal it. Cleaned up throughly.

Pull and reset to auger toilet to clear blockage Customer called us out for a toilet that was not flushing properly. Upon arrival the customer stated the master toilet was not flushing properly, and they have been experiencing this issue for a few days. We first tested the bathroom group to ensure we were not experiencing a bathroom branch clog, and after running water for a long period of time there were no signs. We flushed the toilet and we noticed the water just rise up and slowly drain down. We recommended to the customer to attempt to restore proper flow and they agreed. We performed a pull and reset and we were able to retrieve the foreign object. We reset the toilet on a new wax ring and we tested for leaks around our work and we were successful. I moved a NEMA 50 outlet for a homeowner up about a foot and rotated it per the homeowners request. Plugged in the charger and everything’s working fine. I installed a blank plate in place of the old outlet location.

today we installed a customer supplied filtration system with new insulated water lines to the unit, set it up and programmed a backwash sequence. This unit consisted of dual OP1L Certified Water filter systems by RKIN and a metered water softener with Bluetooth connection The manufacturer, RKIN, failed to send us a filter housing snap ring and we received a faulty part for one of the OP1L filters (meter spacer assembly part number CT-METERSPACER.) A return visit will be necessary when the new parts are in. In the meantime, we are only using 1 filter. Yesterday we finished installation of the 2 50 gallon gas water heaters with 10 year warranties. Used fiberglass insulation. We ran b-vent for flue venting per code specifications. Ran piping in parallel to ensure both heaters are working equally. Tested everything and confirmed all was functioning properly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
