Troubleshoot attic and basement furnaces. Attic furnace was tied in with the radon pump. Radon pump had melted components so we unplugged it until it can be fixed. Basement furnace was recently replaced and on a dual function breaker. New furnace was not compatible with the dual function breaker, so we swapped it out to a standard breaker.

Arrived on site to install new control board on tankless water heater as instructed by the manufacturer, as well as modify the 90 on the exhaust vent ventilation. Once all my rewiring was reconnected I went ahead and tested all areas by running water throughout the house to ensure unit continued to function properly.

Replacing breakers that were affected by power surge and adding a surge protector into the main panel. One circuit was found to be damaged, however the original installed never installed the DF breaker properly. After initially rewiring the breaker properly, the circuit would not stop tripping even after troubleshooting. Homeowner was fine with leaving the existing breaker in place, and are looking to potentially do further troubleshooting on the circuit after the holidays

Will come back on Monday to backfill trench and reinstall water heater. Turn gas appliances on and make sure everything is working properly Inspection has passed and everything is turned on and working properly. Trench was backfilled and covered with wheat straw. Marked where access panel needs to be installed inside when drywall is patched as well.

Client concerned with possible sewer smell primarily in the main floor living room. Performed visual inspection of all visible drainage and checked for leaks, dried p-traps, or failed mechanical vents. No signs of any issues. Advised client that they may require a smoke test which TE does not provide. They would have to contact a leak detection company. Client requested we pull and reset the master toilet which is above the living room to eliminate that as a potential source. Pulled and reset the toilet with new wax seal and mounting hardware. Visually inspected the mounting flange and any visible section of drain line for damage. No issues found. Sealed base of the toilet with fresh bead of caulking.

Today Lindsey has called us out here because she has two issues with two different toilets. The toilet and the powder room is leaking from the water valve and from seals inside of the tank. The toilet in the upstairs hallway, bathroom flapper would get stuck and not close all the way, so the tank can fill all the way up. I recommended replacing both of the toilets because of the age and the prior repairs that have been done on the toilet. Opted out of replacing the toilets for now and would like to get them fixed. She is aware that I can do the repairs on the toilets, but cannot warranty the work because of the age of the toilets and the prior repairs have been done to the toilets. What I did is replace two stop valves for the two toilets, replaced both supply lines and replaced the flapper in the hallway bathroom. Tested work and checked for leaks, which I found no issues of the work that was done today. I also mentioned about their water heater that is 12 years old+ highly recommend

Installed new garbage disposal bracket due to the existing one not being properly sealed. Reworked vent line under kitchen sink with new air admittance valve. After install I tested for leaks and proper function. Everything is good. Thank you for choosing te certified.

Installed new breakers

Today I repaired the main waterline (2”) Where it comes up underneath the driveway. Used high pressure density pipe and fittings and tested the work for any leaks. Found no issues with the work that was done and performed a walk-through with Catherine and that the repair is fixed. Will be returning in January to replace toilets that Catherine has bought.

These will come with bubble covers Customer has requested that we install an additional camera which will require an additional circuit extension with the GFCI receptacle

Will abandon existing gas main that goes underground to feed unit. Have dig team trench from gas meter around building to back porch/courtyard area. Will need to saw cut and remove a portion of the brick to where they can shoot a small bore rod to corner of back patio. From there I will hard pipe up the side of the nook area on the outside and go through the brick into dining room wall, up to the ceiling and over to mechanical room. Updated: gas line has been completely redone from county meter to inside of home. Inspection is set for Monday so the trench is currently open with caution tape everywhere. Pressure is set to 15 psi and everything is holding.

Replaced a section of pex attached to blue poly. Advised customer replacement was best option. Customer understands and wants a replacement but needs the repair today. Replaced with no warranty.

Remove old tall 50 gallon gas water heater and install a short 50 gal gas water heater. This is necessary due to the improper pitch on the previous venting of the water heater. Everything was installed up to code and ensured everything in the house was functioning properly. Because of the improper venting on the old water heater, I highly recommended to install carbon monoxide dectors in the barmans home.

Amber called us out to her home today because her doorbell transformer is not sending enough voltage for a smart nest door doorbell. Today we replaced the doorbell transformer so that it has at least 16 v.

For this job, the customer had one of our hvac technicians out doing maintenance, and noticed a puddle near the front of the home. Once I arrived, I isolated the water line, and found the main service had a leak on it, I also noticed high water pressure in the home, and the customer opted to go with option 3 replacing the Prv, and main shut offs. As well to repair the leak in the yard. The leak in the yard was due to a shark bite fitting transitioning the hdpe to copper at the penitration. I removed shark bite, and used the proper in ground fittings to repair leak. Once complete with my work I tested everything, and backfilled outside. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
