Job Locations and Reviews
Customer was complaining of AC not working and the furnace not starting, barged a troubleshoot and diagnosed the problem. The furnace has burning smell coming from unit, advised homeowner to wait to turn on circuit until HVAC technician has diagnosed the issue. The AC unit appears fine and has the correct voltage
Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the blue bathroom shower. On arrival I tested the shower and it backed up immediately. I then did a safety check on the water heater and the water pressure. Both looked good but the water heater did not have a pan or expansion tank. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the shoe of the drain cleared and a flex shaft ran down. I removed the stopper and found lots of hair in the shoe which I removed. I then removed the overflow and ran a flex shaft down the line. I cleaned up and tested throughly.
For this job, we finished the smoke detectors to the panel replacement project
Completed system observation found a refrigerant leak at evaporate coil client requested and install supervisor to quote for AC and coil Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
For this job, we Installed a new 240 V, 20 amp electrical circuit to provide power to the pool pump disconnect. The installation process included trenching from the exterior wall to the pool pump disconnect location and installing 3/4” PVC conduit for the new circuit. We Pulled new 12awg THHN conductors through the PVC conduit and connected the new circuit at the pool pump disconnect. The existing and new feeds were properly re-landed in the disconnect, and the circuit was tested to verify proper voltage and functionality. All exterior wall penetrations have been waterproofed with caulking to prevent water intrusion and all conduit has been properly strapped and supported.
Pulled toilet to clear obstruction from beneath toilet. Pulled and augered from below, did not find or pull out any obstruction. Sat new wax ring and bolts with supply line to flush and test toilet. Everything flushing and working fine with no issues.
For this Job I added Outlets in multiple location as well as mounted 2 TV’S with a Clock Box.
Responded to homeowner’s property regarding a notice from the power company stating that the meter housing requires repair or replacement due to reported overheating. Inspected the electrical service by removing the panel cover and amp-probing each service conductor. Homeowner operated major electrical loads simultaneously, including air conditioning systems, oven, dryer, and pool equipment, to evaluate the service under a heavy-load condition. Initial inrush current measured approximately 140 amps and dropped to approximately 80 amps after one minute. Based on the testing performed, the electrical load of the home does not appear to be excessive enough to cause the reported meter overheating. The condition appears more likely to be related to the meter, meter housing, service equipment, or another equipment-related issue. Recommendation: A 200-amp service upgrade was quoted as the recommended permanent solution. The service upgrade would provide additional capacity and replace the
Fast, reliable, friendly and efficient. Resolved my outlet and ceiling fan issue on the spot. Best in class experience at every point of engagement.
Performed leak search, caulked masterb bathroom shower, cut Sheetrock from dining room, kitchen ceiling. Ran shower for over 30 min. You could see where evidence of the leak was coming around from around the shower drain area. In master shower grout was cracked in some key areas. Informed homeowner patch would be from silicone the shower but to properly eat it done they would need to retile the shower. Drain was not leaking from the underside. Pat dried area of leakage, ran shower and waited. Noticing the wood getting damp after about over 30 min patted the areas were showing moisture. Just a little bit of water was getting through you could see stalagmite looking forms around shower drain hole area. Caulked shower with 100% silicone caulk. Informed homeowner let set for good 24 hrs to dry out. No leaks
Garbage disposal installation. Our client was very satisfied with the service of provided today. Water pressure 50 psi
Replace existing wall switches for ceiling fan with new dimmer and fan speed control Replace 3rd switch in box and plate as courtesy.
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Tech diagnosed system and noticed bad hazardous conditions at furnace for main level, also furnace lacking proper safety switches, ductwork modifications needed for proper air flow, indoor components are showing signs of failure… tech noticed outdoor unit capacitor is bad, tech went over repair vs replacement options with homeowners… homeowner wants to schedule a CA out tomorrow morning between 8-10am to go over system replacement options… Thanks for choosing TE Certified if you liked your technician service today don’t hesitate to leave a 5 star review!
Tub drain repair
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Customer has 12 y/o Trane system that operates for upper level. System was not cooling due to failed dual capacitor. Replaced 40/5 MFD capacitor. Water rinsed coils. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. Noticed that drain line was not properly pitched. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Recommend water protection upgrade. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.
Replace customers hose bib for them
Hose bib
Customer called to have a rough in done for a shower valve and drain repaired. TE arrived and inspected bathroom that has already been demoed. Home pressure is safe at 55psi. Found improper installation on water heater. Proposed modifications to unit for safety reasons and to have heater properly installed. Customer approved shower valve rough in and drain repair. Shut water off to home and drained system. Cut out old shower valve. Furnished and installed customer supplied shower valve. Secured/anchored pipe and insulated due to valve being on exterior wall. Turned water back on and tested for leaks. NO Leaks. Cut out compromised shower drain. Furnished and installed new shower drain.
I replaced the cartridges and seats and springs in a delta lav faucet. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues
Bathroom Office converting old 2” to 4” LED recess wafers and new dimmers. Service upgrades and panel replacement options have been sent and highly encouraged.
On the front of the home remove the exterior wall sconces and install (2) new customer supplied wall sconces. After installing the fixtures I installed (4) customer supplied candelabra style lamps and applied silicone around each fixture. Gave an estimate for a panel upgrade with a new Tesla wall charger and circuit
Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed me upstairs to the guest bathroom toilet which he states constantly runs or stops and starts again. It is an older American Standard toilet with a ballcock style fill valve. I also checked the customer’s water pressure which is at a safe level @48psi. Gave customer options to perform a minor rebuild for the toilet. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval and the necessary materials I began work. Replaced the fill valve and flapper. The toilet supply line is 7/16” not 1/2” as I originally thought. Customer replaced it fairly recently so I reused the old supply line and gave the customer a further discount since I did not replace that part. Returned water and flushed toilet multiple times. No leaks. Toilet is functioning properly at this time. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
Install 2 story ceiling fan in living room. New fan rated box may be required.
For this Job I Installed a New Provided EyeBolt.
Replaced leaking water stop valve in main level bathroom for the toilet. Also, replaced two handle shower valve in upstairs master bathroom with new delta single handle shower valve. Tested and ensured everything is working properly.
Water stains on the ceiling in the basement bedroom. I cut open the ceiling to find the source, no plumbing pipes were detected in the area. HVAC duct in the ceiling has water running along the pipe and the joist and ceiling. Will have mitigation come out to take a deeper look with the chance of the hvac department possibly coming out.
