Returned to complete work as per estimate. Turned water off to the home and drained down system. Fabricated connections for new StreamLabs Auto Shutoff Control. Plumbed into place (after pressure reducing valve) and installed subsequent ball valve as an additional courtesy for ease of service. While working, discovered failed expansion tank and brought to homeowner’s attention. She approved a replacement, and also requested a toilet rebuild on a Kohler Cimmaron. Installed new Tankless mini-expansion tank on cold inlet line to unit. Disconnected toilet tank and removed old fill valve and flush valve. Removed old supply line from stop. Replaced internal components with new, manufacturer flush valve assembly, and a new brass shank fill valve. Turned water back on to the home once all work was completed. Spent ample time flushing air out of system before turning tankless water heater back on and powering on the StreamLabs Control. Confirmed that there are no leaks on any work p

Upon arrival, we met with the owners. Over the last week, the basement toilet has been intermittently gurgling and not draining. Last night, they found the toilet was overflowing and since then the water has gone down. There are no outside cleanouts. We pulled the toilet, found standing water in the lead closet bend. We ran the 400, cleared the blockage around 30’ and pulled back a large mass of hair. We began running water, ran the cable again to 60’, did not pull anything back. Reset the toilet with a new wax ring and closet bolts. Filled, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. A supervisor is scheduled to perform a camera inspection. Shut off water supply to fixture, remove all fluid from fixture, remove china caps and bolts from fixture, pull water closet from base, clean flange and inspect for damage, perform drain clearing operation using specialty drain clearing equipment specifically designed for task, set new wax gasket on flange, new bolts and new supply. Fill and test,

Returned to fabricate tee on hot water supply to feed dishwasher. Had a handshake agreement prior to beginning work that we would attempt to hook up the existing dishwasher, despite its age and questionable efficacy. Turned water off to the home and drained down system. Installed new copper tee with straight stop for dishwasher. Capped off old water supply in the ceiling below. Began preparing to hook up drain hose to tubular connection and new braided supply to existing appliance. Noticed that a rubber coupling behind the unit was almost completely disconnected. Upon further inspection and partial removal of the dishwasher, discovered that this connection along with several other components of the dishwasher had signs of being gnawed through by rodents. Advised homeowner that we not reconnect the unit at this time, and that they proceed with replacement. Homeowner requested that, for the time being, we simply put the unit back in its place. NOTE: There are ABANDONED connect

Today I came out for Home Care on Rheem system. Furnace is located in the attic and I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coils heat exchangers, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, and cleared drain lines. Both the blower wheel and evaporator coils have dirt and debris built up on them. There is biological growth present underneath evaporator on drain pan. Both flame sensor and igniter have heavy carbon built up on them even after cleaning them. Burners are not firing properly as one burner will kick on, but it take the other 3 several seconds to come on. They should all fire up simultaneously. For the condenser I checked all electrical components, refrigerant pressures, and coils. Coils have dirt and debris building up on them and a bunch of leaves inside of condenser. After going over all my findings and options, Barry is moving forward with Option C. After speaking with

Performed 4 system homecares. I changed the Trane systems air filter and the media filter for the mainfloor. Customer said it was ok to run the credit card on file for 89$ (costs of the replacement media filter). I checked the refrigerant pressures on all systems. I checked the AC components for the AC systems. I found the bonus room AC system (2007 carrier system) was low on obsolete R22 refrigerant; due to a possible refrigerant leak. The unit will not be able to keep that area of the home cool and properly dehumidified when it gets hot outside due to the refrigerant leak. Due to the system being so old and operating on obsolete R22 refrigerant, I can’t provide repair options. The homeowner (Mrs Alison) asked to setup a time with an install supervisor to get an updated estimate to replace the AC system.

Today I came out for 1 Home Care on 2022 Rheem system. Furnace is located in crawlspace. I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coils heat exchangers, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, and cleared drain lines. Evaporator coil has biological growth all along coils and down the sides. Static pressure for return side is high at .62 and ideally it should be around .1. For the outdoor unit I inspected all electrical components, refrigerant pressures, and coil. Condenser coil is heavily impacted with dirt and debris. After going over all findings and options, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas have decided to just replace the filter today. They will let me know later on what they would like taken care of. It was a pleasure to meet both of y’all today and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Arrived at the customer’s home to investigate sparking at a bathroom GFCI outlet. Upon inspection, identified multiple failing/unsafe devices. Recommended and replaced three GFCI outlets and one standard receptacle that was found to be loose. Also discovered that an EV charger was plugged into the same GFCI circuit, which is not appropriate for that type of load. Advised the customer to install a dedicated circuit for the EV charger for safety and proper operation. All recommended repairs were completed. Tested all devices and verified proper operation. System is functioning safely at time of departure.

We performed a troubleshoot on the ring camera to ensure power was present. We checked the doorbell chime and power at the doorbell itself. Performed a hard-reset on the ring camera which enabled it to function properly. The customer is aware the his camera is faulty and would be a good idea to purchase a new one.

I think I just found my go-to plumber. I managed to turn a simple attempt at cleaning my bathroom p-trap into breaking the sink drain, and Andrew Fitch came in and saved me from my own do-it-myself fail. Andrew replaced my old p-trap, installed a new faucet and drain, and even discovered that there was no water shut-off valve for the sink, which he also took care of. What I really appreciated was not just that he fixed everything, but how calmly, quickly, and thoroughly he did it. Andrew worked cleanly, was considerate in my home, and never made me feel ridiculous for asking a million questions and going off on side tangents, which I did, at least twice. Andrew was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. I was extremely grateful for his help, and after this experience, he is absolutely the plumber I’ll be calling from now on (sorry, Andrew).

Luis L. did truly exceptional work for us. He installed a new LED can light, an outlet/switch combo device, and a safety breaker, and every part of the experience was excellent. He was kind, professional, respectful, and took the time to explain our options clearly without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. His workmanship was outstanding, and he worked so quietly and carefully that it was genuinely a pleasure having him in our home. What impressed me most, beyond the quality of the electrical work itself, was how incredibly thorough he was with cleanup. He left the area cleaner than any technician from any company I have ever had in my home. Luis is exactly the kind of tradesperson you hope for, skilled, thoughtful, respectful, and meticulous. I would absolutely ask for him again and welcome him back for future work without hesitation. 20/10

Jonah did not seem confident in any communication. Was on the phone and checking the how-to manual. Other guy with him looked at the giant furnace and asked if it was a heat pump. They were pleasant and professional, but didn’t give “we’ve got this under control” vibes. Price for diagnostic was fine. Repair quote seems high.
