Customer called us out for a garbage disposal in kitchen that didn’t sound right. I inspected the garbage disposal and found a piece of plastic lodged in the main chamber. I successfully removed the plastic. Customer did not want water heater or pressure tested.

Troubleshoot dryer not working

Inspected the whole home HVAC system. Tested cooling and zoning from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked the 1” air filter. Ran duct load calculations. Reported findings to the customer.

When I arrived Mr. Whittier, stated that the kitchen sink strainer was leaking from under the cabinet. I ran water at the kitchen faucet and water was leaking from under the left sided compartment sink. I went ahead and took the strainer apart , and noticed the worn rubber gasket. I gave the option to replace the basket strainer completely , which Mr. Whittier, agreed to do so. After replacing the basket strainer , I went ahead and ran water to ensure proper drainage , and no leaks. I also advised that they avoid using the left compartment sink so that the seal can dry properly. Basket strainer has been fixed and leak should no longer be an issue. We came out today to trace down the lights the homeowner has requested. Switching and Lighting -Main Driveway pool house- This is a newer installation. The lights are located high up in the trees and they are switched by a timer. The timer is located on the pool pump house on the outside of it. I pressed the bypass button on unit and the lights came on. -Pool house gate flood- The circuit is coming out of the laundry panel located behind the photo in the half kitchen by the master bedroom on circuit #20 a single pole 20 amp breaker. All the flood fixture have a metal box that is surface mounted to the soffit and the boxes are either missing covers, not properly bonded and the S/O is running into the exterior wood into the box and they have indoor rated connectors. These lights have photo cells attached to them and the ones that don’t are controlled by a light that does have a photocell. Only system in the house, heat pump (attic), 2006 ,R22 refrigerant. Outside heat pump not working and tripping the breaker. Compressor is shorted to ground and needs to be replaced, in order to do a complete diagnostic. Due to be a r22 system, and this type of Freon being phased out since jan2020, system needs to be replaced. Also, no return plenum and return flex is connected to the bottom of the air handler. Possible low on return ( 2.5 tons with one return only -looks like a 14”). Outside condenser is very dirty, filter was dirty (customer replaced), and low on return, plus the age of the system (19 years old) , can have caused the compressor to go bad. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the only system in the house for today. We should credit 98,00 spent today with diagnostic, if customer upgrade the system.

Tested and found small gas leak on water heater. Replace flex gas connection and test all connections for leaks Found no leaks. Everything is working as it should at this time Thank you for shooing TE Certified

Diagnostic on 2014 Goodman AC and furnace system. Upon walking around with homeowner homeowner pointed out that there were two window units in the home to help. Keep home cool in the summertime. A quick Google search let us know if this home is 2700 ft.² And has a 3 ton air conditioner in place. Upon inspection of the furnace found the evaporator coil to be sweating and condensing on the outside. Started my inspection on the outdoor unit. Found leak at the suction line service valve. Pressure in the system is off. The system is more likely low on refrigerant and pressures are showing an airflow issue. System is putting out a pretty good delta t right at 20. Condenser coil is dirty. Moved inside and did a static test on this system and it has a static pressure of one. This unit should be running a static pressure .5. This unit does not have enough ductwork. The system has major design issues. The system is simply undersize for the home as well as not enough ductwork and airflow for the
