During our visit, a repair was made on the main water service at the foundation wall. The old pvc penetration was replaced with copper. The wall was sealed with hydraulic cement and tar. This repair was tested for leaks after completion.

For this job I came out and replaced old leaking 40 gallon gas’s water heater with a new 50 gallon standard gas heater.

Our client reached out to us to have a shut off valve beside the master bathroom toilet replace. Their house was drained down and the valve was replaced. Valve was tested for leaks and no leaks were found. House was purged getting rid of all the air in the system. Two quotes were left with them in reference to a water heater that needs to be changed out. Water pressure is at 65 psi. I’ll follow up with the customer and schedule for May 16th.

For this job, I found the leak the customer called about on the dish washer door the seal needs to be replaced. I noticed the garbage disposal has been leaking and recommended to replace unit. I also installed the thermal expansion tank correctly and replaced all the old gate valves around Prv and replaced the Prv.

Replace compromised disconnect

Properly Performed spring/fall maintenance 2 systems. Replaced all filters checked blower wheels for built up dirt/dust, cleared inducer ports, tested hot surface igniters, took delta Ts, cleared drain lines, tested safety switches, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, monitored systems operations. Added 3lbs of refrigerant on main floor system.

Remove GFCI and box, install 15 amp GFCI breaker for circuit, install 1900 box with whip and wire ready for install

Replace Eaton dual function breaker for garbage disposal.

Troubleshoot bath fan not receiving power.

Customer complained of natural gas grill and pool heater not operating. We checked gas grill and were able to get it to light. We tested several ti,es and it lit on each occasion. We checked the gas pressure at the pool heater and it was 7.5 inches of water column which is within specification of the pool heater.

Repaired loss of power to garage

Called out for busted water heater in basement. Upon arrival, found 2007 Rheem 40 gallon gas water heater busted at bottom. Quoted customer two new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heaters with anode warranty extension. Cut out the two old water heaters and replaced them with new ones including new shutoffs and grundfos recirculating pump. Restored water and checked for leaks. No leaks were found. Cleaned work area.

Install a halo H2 zero ultimate

Perform prepaid maintenance on two systems. Main level system is a 2010 comfort maker furnace. Heat exchanger is in very questionable condition. There is lots of excessive rust. Several areas where there are possible holes. This furnace is very much on its last heating season or two. Not calling it a failure today, but the system needs to be thoroughly inspected every fall. Outdoor unit on main level system had a contactor that was buzzing very loudly. With customer approval replace this. Upstairs system is in good shape and working well at time of inspection.

Met with Don. He needed help changing a light bulb in the kitchen. I took care of that for him as a courtesy. While I was there he wanted me to check out a kitchen table light that wasn’t working. The light was on a dimmer but it did not work. I took out the dimmer and discovered it was not connected to the dimmer. I hooked it up to the dimmer and nothing. I then just hooked it up to straight power and there was a dead short. I then disconnected the light in the ceiling box and the power held. I reconnected the light and it dead shorted again. I informed Don the light had a short in it and that he needs to replace it. I went ahead and removed the light at his request and blanked it off. I left him a quote for when he does get the new light.

Cut dry wall out and repair pin hole leak of 1/2 copper in the ceiling. Checked for leaks and clean up work area. Left quotes for water heater replacement and PRV with a shut off.

Excavate in flowerbed in backyard. Replace section from house to cleanout. Install new 2-way cleanout.

2 system one time inspections. Main floor findings include cracked rusted heat exchanger, dirty blower wheel, burnt contactor. System well past life expectancy, minimal flood protection. Upstairs system wasn’t properly set up upon install. Airflow to fast for cooling unit does not have wet switch. Disconnect sub panel outside is older and should be replaced soon. Main floor unit should be replaced. Informed customer of cracked heat exchanger advised not to use heat. Left thermostat in non heating position. Customer does not want to get quote for replacing main floor equipment at this time. Properly set up airflow on upstairs system. Tested, system performing better.
