Today I came out to perform a whole home inspection. The reason for that home inspection is because the homeowner unplugged a surge outlet extender and noticed that the back of the extender and the front of the outlet were burnt. After performing the whole house inspection I found double tap neutrals in the panel, Switches at the end of their lifespan, no smoke detectors in any of the bedrooms or basement, no whole house surge protection, also old outlets.

Home care inspection on three systems ( 2024 ). Replaced filters (413(2) and 110), provided by the customer. All systems are working properly in heating and cooling mode. Only upstairs system is protected by blue tube uv light. Installed two more blue tube uv lights for basement and main level systems. Drain lines are clear and system working. No other issues, systems are very well maintained.

No cool on the only system in the house. Outside condenser not getting power and breaker was tripped. Reset breaker and system works. Checked amperage on motor and compressor, wire connections, pressures, temperature differential, drain line (clear), replaced filter and visual inspection. System is one year old only and working properly at this visit. House lost power many times last week and it could have been the cause of breaker tripped. There is no drain pan under the system ,in crawl space and no flood protection device installed, as well. To prevent water in the crawl space, in case of drain line get clogged. Recommend to install a in line switch, for the drain line, a drain pan under the system (crawl space) and a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house and to protect the equipment. No other issue at this visit. Also, recommend toilet stall a whole house dehumidifier, to keep humidity level down in the entire house.

Troubleshoot why multiple breakers are tripping. Install new outlets the kitchen.

This option is to run gen inlet next to dog house customer built for generator. It will be about 20ft of pipe plus circuit, we will also seperate lighting in basement with pico remotes.

Customer called us out for a clog in the master bathroom grouping. On arrival the tank had been removed from the toilet. The bowl was disconnected but customer stated it had leaked when he tried to remove it. I remove the toilet since the water had drained then I tested the line by running the shower and sinks. After 15 minutes I checked the clean out outside and the water was running well. I gave the customer an estimate to reinstall the toilet and they agreed. I reconnected the tank and bowl, reset the toilet with new closet bolts, china caps, supply line and wax ring. Tested toilet for leaks and function. Cleaned up throughly.

Ran new gas line for dryer. Install new expansion tank. Install new copper piping strap existing expansion tank. Service tankless unit.

Multiple cat6 wirings for new network for home and garage. Customer request all connections be female punch down jack. Customer will be installing his server rack for the main home and switch in garage. Customer will be installing his own access points at all locations throughout home. Tested all connections with 100% completion.

For this job, the customer called us out due to one of their smoke detectors beeping during the night. We discovered that all of the detectors were over ten years old. Today I came out to complete quoted repairs diagnosed by previous tech. I swapped out failing compressor, added new filter dryer, pulled vacuum down to 375 microns, added 7 lbs of 410 refrigerant and tested work. Initially adding a return duct was quoted. However, after talking with customer she would like for an install manager to come out to look at if the original duct work was installed correctly or if it needs to be redone. System is operating and cooling at time of departure. It was a pleasure to meet you today and I hope you have a great fall!

Performed a one system HVAC inspection for the sale of the home. Tested system in heat and cool modes and system is operating properly at this time. Evaporator and condenser coils are clean, 14x18x1 filter requires replacement and drain has been observed to be clear and draining at this time.

Met restoration on site for Evaluation, and cut out Sheetrock inside of 2nd story to confirm no additional leak.

For this call, homeowners had discovered a leak coming from basement ceilings. Upon inspection, we turned water back on for a moment to see where the leaks were coming from and found them in multiple locations. Homeowners also had noticeable old leak coming from the upper element on their hybrid water heater. Homeowners agreed to get it replaced as well while we were here. After installing heater and repairing all the leaks, we tested and all is working as it should at this time. Home pressure is set to 65 psi and expansion tank to 70 psi. Arrived at customers home and found water pouring from ceiling in basement. Upon further inspection it appears to be a sudden wax ring failure. Awaiting restoration of job site before more work can be performed.

Completed diagnosis and repairs to outlets

2021 Lennox System Arrived and customer was wanting to move thermostat from upstairs bedroom to the hallway. The reason for this was the downstairs front part of the house was never at the correct temperature. I inspected the system and found the system is zoned with 4 dampers. It is a zone first control panel and uses telephone style cables for the motors. The motor serving the front part of downstairs did not have a cable plugged into to. Customer is going to get a cable from the hardware store and install it himself. Once repairs are made, the thermostat should not have to be moved. Mentioned water safety devices were minimal and the customer decided install flood protection.

No Cool- 2018 Carrier System Arrived and found the system not cooling. Inspected outdoor and discovered the outdoor capacitor had failed. Inspected indoor unit and found no issues other than the unit not having adequate water safety devices to protect the home. Customer also mentioned the room above the garage is noticeably warmer than the other rooms. I replaced the capacitor and checked refrigerant pressures. Cleared drain and checked air temperatures. System is back operating. Left estimates to correct ductwork for bedroom above garage.

Customer called us out for a shower in the master bathroom backing up and leaking from the toilet. Customer is on septic but only one bathroom was affected. Toilet had not been used in a year. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the toilet pulled and a cable machine ran down the line. I removed the toilet and found that the flange was broken. Customer agreed to have this fixed as well. I ran the machine down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I then installed a flange repair and reset the toilet. While testing the toilet started to leak from the fill valve area. When water was shut off it did not leak. Customer is planning on replacing the toilet soon and did not want a new fill valve. Tested line throughly with other bathroom fixtures and cleaned up. Could not test water due to broken line to hose bib.

Upon arrival we met with the customer who stated that while using the upstairs shower the downstairs toilet overflowed from the bowl. During the inspection we opened the clean-out to see a small amount of water and flushed the toilet. Water filled the clean-out and then lowered. Customer stated the last time they had the septic tank pumped was approximately 10 years ago. We informed the customer that they would need a septic company to flush the tank. Advised the customer that septic tanks are recommended to be flushed every 3-5years. No further work was needed.

Arrived on site for a system inspection. Clients moved in recently and when mowing they hit something near the AC and wanted to check to ensure it wasn’t damaged at all. The home has a 2025 Ac and a 2021 Rheem furnace. We tested the system and its would run in heating and cooling without error or faults. The AC uses an A2L flammable refrigerant but the evaporator doesn’t have the A2L mitigation sensor in the system for safety. These are always necessary for flammable refrigerants. We also found the system with 2 filters, a plastic bag pulled into the blower wheel and duct work is extremely dirty. we corrected those things and pressures looked a lot better but superheat was still elevated and it’s displaying signs of low charge. We do recommend some cleanings and recommended Homecare. Collected service call fee and ensured the system was fully operational upon departure.
