During our visit, the customer mentioned that a leak appeared to be coming from the hot water pipe coming from the water heater. Upon inspection I noticed a pinhole in the uponor pex hot water pipe. I then checked the water pressure and the expansion tank. The water pressure was around 60 psi but the expansion tank bladder was ruptured. I spoke with the customer about solutions. Multiple estimates were provided and presented. An estimate was approved for a repair to be made. A new thermal expansion tank was installed and pumped up to 70 psi. The tank was also mounted to a bracket. The pinhole was repaired on the hot side of the water heater. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Customer called us out for a sound coming from the daughter’s tub when the toilet in the same room was flushed. We were unable to repeat the issue. We checked the venting in the attic. Vent sizing is code compliant. The daughter’s tub and the master bathroom shower were both slow draining. We recommended having both fixtures cleared and the customer agreed. After getting signature approval we began work. Cleared both the master shower drain and guest bathroom tub drain. Removed large amounts of hair buildup and a small plastic toy from the drains. After clearing both drains we tested them thoroughly. The tub and shower are draining properly at this time. We were still unable to repeat the loud noise the customer heard from the tub when the toilet is flushed and everything is functioning properly at this time. Customer will observe and will reach back out if they experience any further issues. Customer is satisfied and paid for today’s service with a card.

Installed new water service line. Water service was bored from the water meter to the crawl space. A sleeve was installed underground first and then the water pipe was pushed through the sleeve. We installed a new main water shutoff and pressure regulator in the crawl space. All piping exposed to outside conditions was wrapped in insulation. Installed two new 20 amp dedicated circuits from the main panel to the back porch and put in two new location outdoor outlets for space heaters.

Call out for a toilet back up ran cable throughout toilet to clear blockage. Blockage was waste and tissue. Line is open and flowing .

Estimate is to replace upstairs furnace only, new plenums, UV Light and permit all work.

For this job I rendered leak detection services as TGL for original technician Austin Newman after isolating the water main service between the shut off in the crawlspace, and the meter I use sonar equipment to listen to the line from the meter up to the home however, there is a giant oak tree directly in the path of the Watermain and because of the tree roots and where the line is broken I was not able to pinpoint the location of the leak, it is in my opinion that the water main service is entangled in the root system of that tree therefore, I was getting false positives in multiple locations. This could be a sign of multiple leaks or one major leak incased in roots.

Arrived for no heat on gas furnace located in attic. Zone board flashing high limit open. 2 zone Honeywell system. Zone 1 12” damper. Zone 2 1-12” damper and 1-10” damper. 1-12” bypass damper. Zone 1 main level damper stuck halfway open. Return ductwork undersized at 1060 CFM not including bypass. 3.5 ton system needs 1400 CFM. High limit on zone board set at 160 F, furnace high limit is 180 F. Weak run capacitor at 7.5uf reading 6.8uf. Zone damper is open now but it will need to be replaced. Gears inside the motor are failing and will get stuck again. On the outside of the plenum connections to dampers, there are signs of biological growth. There were also signs of biological growth on the evaporator coil. Installing UV system will stop spread of any additional biological growth inside system and ductwork. Customer wanted a Streamlabs installed. He also had a burst pipe going to the hosebib so we repaired it.

On arrival customer toilet was filing up slow. With customer approval I did a minor toilet rebuild which was replacing fill valve,flapper and supply line. Once install I tested everything . Toilet is ad to working properly. No other issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Homeowner had TE Certified out for multiple issues that were previously quoted. The water heater hot side was repiped in copper. Along with the cold side additionally a new thermal expansion tank was installed and new 1/4 turn shut off valve. The toilet on the main floor was replaced and during this the flange was replaced due to it being broken. Customer had purchased a crossover tee. This was installed at no additional cost to the homeowner. The tub drain and overflow plate were replaced. Please allow the 12 hours before using. Everything was checked and verified for proper operation.

The copper line for the front hose bib had a freeze break on an exposed area of piping under the stairs. Went inside the encapsulated crawlspace and ran line in pex inside the crawlspace to minimize exposure to cold air

No heat for the upstairs system, due to a dirty flame sensor. I was able to clean the flame sensor, and heat works. Inspected entire system. Found heat exchanger very rusted with crack, return plenum is extremely dirty and blower wheel is dirty, as well. Air quality in the house is compromised. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend). At this age (furnace 25 years old and ac 6 years old), the best option would be to upgrade the system, for safety, comfort and efficiency purposes. No diagnostic fee. We did home care inspection this month. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the upstairs furnace for tomorrow after 12. We should credit 89,00 back, if customer replace system,
