Arrived on site to perform a diagnostic for 2 new high efficiency furnaces not heating. The home was built in November of 2025 and the units are brand new. They have smart thermostats and the downstairs was blank when I arrived. Upstairs was 57 degrees and was shut off because it was blowing cold air. The furnaces both had the breakers off due to client sharing that one of them was tripped. She restored power to each furnace and after a detailed inspection of all mechanical and electrical components, and when we restored power by closing service panels, each thermostat powered up and began heating. We ensured filters were clean, drains were cleared and unfrozen and made sure all components were performing within manufactured specifications. My assessment was that maybe a power surge or momentary outage may have been responsible because we found no issues or discrepancies at all. Each zone heated back to desired 65 degree set points. I removed schedules from the thermostats at their req
