Responded to the residence today at the homeowner’s request due to two circuit breakers that had tripped and would not reset. Performed a full inspection and functional test of the panel’s safety breakers. The test buttons were operated on the breakers, and 14 breakers either failed to trip as designed or produced loud buzzing sounds with audible indications of the breaker mechanism binding/locking up. During troubleshooting, electrical arcing was heard and traced to the water heater circuit breaker. The affected breaker(s) showed visible signs of overheating consistent with arcing. The panel bus bar was inspected and showed no visible damage. Due to the number of breakers exhibiting abnormal operation and the observed overheating/arcing condition, replacement of the breakers was recommended to restore proper operation and improve electrical safety. Homeowner elected to have all breakers in the electrical panel replaced today. Breaker replacement was authorized by the homeowner.

Dug up and located leak on 1” HDPE piping in front of the meter box approx 1 .5 ft deep. Cut out damaged section of piping and replaced with 1” pex pipe. Installed underground rated stainless steel fittings for better corrosion resistance and tested for leaks. Wrapped connections in burial tape and backfilled hole to rough grade.

Issues found: Upstairs: blown capacitor on the outdoor unit. The contactor was in poor condition. The outdoor unit was impacted with dirt. The blower motor capacitor was failing. System also needed better flood protection. Upstairs: with the homeowners approval; I replaced the blower motor capacitor, capacitor on the condenser and the contactor. I also added flood protection and the homeowner signed up for the homecare program. I tested the new flood protection and verified that it was operating. I flushed the drain line with 2 gallons of water with chemicals. I also deep cleaned the condenser coil and replaced the air filters. The unit was operating when I left (see video). The refrigerant pressures were good. Mainfloor system: The system had a failing blower motor capacitor. The contactor on the outdoor unit was in poor condition. Replaced tank to bowl gasket, fill valve, and flapper in main floor guest bathroom as it was leaking. Tested thoroughly and did not see anymore leaking

Arrived to home to evaluate the drain line from house to the tank. Sent the camera down and was able to make it out to the first tank just on the other side of the steps. The line was completely full and I didn’t come across any obstructions. My recommendation would be having septic company come out and address the full tanks and the lift station pump that is not functioning properly.

For this job we moved over the water lines and drain line 16 inches forward to accommodate the new kitchen island. We shut the water off, cut a neat square to access plumbing and moved plumbing using copper and pvc pipe and fittings. Tested all work and left work area clean.

We replace three lightbulbs in the hallways of the dentist office building

For this job, I worked on replacing an electrical meter. Installed the customer provided smoke detectors. And as a courtesy we installed an interlock and a generator inlet.

Installed 100 pint Aprilaire dehumidifier with external controller. Sealed all vents to upstairs and main floor. Sealed both units ductwork. Dehumidifier is dehumidifying at this time.

Replace fixtures all throughout the home

I removed drywall from the kitchen ceiling area to try and locate a leak. After filling and running the tub extensively I finally saw water dripping from the tub shoe area. I installed a new tub drain lift and turn assembly then tested by running hot and cold water and filling the tub two times and letting it hold. At this time the drain is working properly. Since the home is piped in CPVC pipe, I prepared and emailed estimates for a whole house repipe. In addition I emailed estimates for toilet replacement and for a Streamlabs water leak detection device.

Replaced defective furnace board. Tested all functions.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Cut ties and repair drain slope. Clear restriction and remove water. Clean main floor drain line as well. 6 mo. warranty on cleanings.

I replaced a customer supplied shower cartridge. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no further issues. Since the cartridge was supplied by the customer, this repair is performed with no warranty. I also noticed that the water heater is undersized for the amount of bed/bathrooms are in the home. I also provided and estimate for a water heater upgrade

Replaced outlets and switches including burnt outlet of concern. Separated neutrals in main panel and added whole home surge protection.

Cut out leaking water line to toilet. Replaced water line with new pex 1/2 water line to the toilet. Tested and ensured everything is operating properly and no more leaks are present at this time.

No Cool Upon arrival, the hard start kit had erupted, and the compressor was stripped on a thermal overload. I cooled off the compressor, disconnected the hard start and fired up the system. While the system was running had became evident that the outdoor fan motor was having intermittent failure, which was likely directly related to the compressor overheating overtime. The equipment is over 10 years old and hasn’t been maintenance consistently. Due to the condition of the equipment and the cost of repairs customer would like to get a quote for replacement.

For this job, I worked on replacing an exterior light fixture provided by the customer. As a courtesy, I got two lightbulbs out that were stuck in sockets.

For this job, I replaced the electrical meter, installed a new shower light from scratch, and installed 9 battery operated smoke detectors.

I replaced an electric 50 gallon water heater with an anode rod upgrade kit to extend the warranty by an additional 4 years. I also installed an inline grundfos alpha recirculating pump. I tested my work thoroughly to ensure there were no issues

Whole home Redevice Panel Repairs including: Installing all new dual function (AFCI/GFCI) breakers in panel separating neutrals by adding ground bars Install two new Eaton brand surge protectors in panels Wiring to the dock has a fault in it and must be installed properly with a new circuit. We are unable to install a GFCI breaker on this at this time(dock breaker is GFCI). At customers request we installed this on a standard breaker. Customer did not want new workshop redeviced at this time.

For this job we fixed a cut in box and replaced a GFCI on the backside side of the home. The outlet next to the AC units was in a metal box and the screws were touching the metal box causing the GFCI to trip. Everything is functioning as it should.
