For this job, we rendered leak detection service for homeowner and discovered leak underneath driveway. Homeowner decided to trench a new Watermain service from the meter to the foundation wall, where we will go into the front right side of the garage and reroute the plumbing to go up the wall across the ceiling and then down behind the water heater to tie into the existing plumbing system.

Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on two 5 y/o Good,an heat pump systems that operates for main and upper levels and one 5 y/o Ducane heat pump system that operates for basement level. Checked amp draws. Heat strips are operational. Performed blower wheel cleaning for main and upper levels. Replaced two 16x20x1 filters and one 20x20x1 filter. Drain lines are clear. Recommend UV BlueTube for all systems to prevent biological growth. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. Coils are fair. Informed customer of findings. Systems are currently working.

Customer has 2 y/o Goodman heat pump system that operates for main level. System is not cooling due to low pressure levels indicating refrigerant loss. Performed electronic leak search and found no leaks at evaporator coil, compressor, solder joints, connecting joints, and king valves. However, traveling down wall chaise, leak detector did go off. Noticed that several nails in the location of the line set. Informed customer that line set is possibly damaged and leak refrigerant. Recommend new line set installation with line set cover for the outside of the home.

First time I've needed HVAC repair service on 6 y/o house. Read a lot of reviews of companies, but there is always the concern of whether who you called is the best. Happy to say Jason Y. at TE Certified is The Best! He called me to advise he'd be arriving about 30 minutes later. He had actually read the customer notes I provided regarding troubleshooting I had already done. Once on scene, he then very methodically evaluated each piece in the "chain", and initially thought a condenser circuit board had become defective. However, he continued to rule out other possibilities, and discovered that a wire had gone bad instead. He rerouted using a different wire, and problem solved, and the circuit board was fine. System is up and running perfectly. Jason also explained everything he was doing, showed me some things I could do myself to improve the system, and was very competent and cordial to chat with. He got all that done in under 2 hours. The bill was also very very reasonable. I have no doubt at all who I will call the next time we have any HVAC issue.
