Performed electronic leak search and did not find any hits. Noticed several issues with components that have affected the functionality of the system. Overheating defrost control board. Dirty condenser coils. Dual capacitor not wired correctly. Pitted contactor. Dirty blower wheel. No form of water protection. Recommend duct cleaning. Informed customer of findings. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Customer has 24 y/o Goodman furnace matched with 10 y/o York AC that operates for whole house. System is not cooling due to low pressure levels indicating refrigerant loss. Performed electronic leak search and found no hits of a leak. Added 1 lb. of 410A refrigerant. During inspection, noticed that blower motor is failing, blower wheel is very dirty, run capacitor is weak and no form of water protection present. Informed customer of findings. Advised customer to seek options to upgrade system. Quote declined at this time. System is currently working.

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Performed 1 system diagnostic for upstairs unit. Found dirty blower motor weak capacitor, unit is 19 years old R22, found condenser unit packed with dirty and bras. Capacitor out of tolerance, and contactor pitted. Will also need to bring electrical team out to check outdoor panel. Bother units are running on one breaker and upstairs unit is causing it to pop when running for 2-3 minutes. Dude to cost or repairs and age of system, customer requested estimate for replacement. To have all options to discuss with his wife.

Hubert and Jose had a very challenging task in replacing our electrical meter and our two panels. The previous owners did a lot of the work themselves and it showed. I had TE Electric come out and diagnose a problem with my dryer when it randomly stopped. Immediately upon Miquel coming in, he noted the brand of my fuse box and how dangerous those were. Through his diagnostics, he determined the back of my fuse box was showing signs of extreme heat. He presented me 2 options, replace the fuse box or update my old homes whole electrical. We went with the fuse box and he completed the work same day. I appreciated how Miquel was knowledgeable, provided me with pictures of the melted materials and timely in completing his work. The price fit the national average and I thought was fair for the quality and amount of work. I will be using TE again for more housing needs and will specifically be asking for Miquel for future electrical repairs.
