Upon arrival the homeowner had informed me of the issue at hand regarding the main floor system. Began diagnosing the equipment and found that the 3 amp fuse that protects the board had popped replaced fuse and system came on and fan only ran and heating ran, but when cooling wa demanded the 3amp fuse had popped again. Tested outdoor contactor and found that the contactor had an internal failure and caused the 24volt to come back from the outdoor equipment and pop the fuse. 3 amp fuse saved control board from failing. Recommended replacement of the contactor and to join homecare maintenance plan to help avoid disruptions and to help maintain/maximize the systems efficiency during heating and cooling operations. No cool on Lennox system that serves 3rd floor. Found system low on 410a refrigerant charge, used electronic leak detector to find leak in the system. Found no leaks at outdoor unit, found evaporator coil has leak. Provided estimate for evaporator coil replacement.
