Tested systems not heating or cooling Well for the home. Tested both the main level and the upstairs level systems. On the upstairs system, we found that the compressor is shorted the ground and tripping the breaker, we also found that the evaporator coil in the air handler is leaking refrigerant. On the main level system, we found that the system was low, refrigerant, and conducting a leak surge, found a leak in the condenser coil outside. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Tested system, not heating for the main level. Found a cracked igniter and found this to be due to a faulty control board that is sending constant power to the igniter. Also, the blower motor had a hard time starting due to a failing capacitor. The inducer motor is pulling over amps and we’ll see failure soon. The blower wheel and the drain line are extremely filthy and needs a cleaning. Also, the system has lots of rust buildup in and around the heat exchanger possibly leaking carbon monoxide. Cannot test carbon monoxide until the system is running. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Performed 1 system diagnostic. Found filter dirty causing system to cut on on high limit. Replaced filter provided by customer. Recommended 2 media filters, 2 apco x up systems, and 2 wet switches due to location of units. Also recommend customer sign up for a 2 system homecare. All estimated sent collected payment. No other issues found at this time.

Found the t&p valve was letting out water due to the house pressure being 115psi. Replaced PRV and master shut off next to the water heater and found that the copper pipe that the PRV is on is in fact a distribution pipe and not the water service main. The slab Manifold was then exposed and cut to determine where the main service line terminated. Found no conclusive results. A PRV is to be placed in the front yard after the water meter.
