Demo old jacuzzi circuit and set junction box in attic
For this job we are installing two customer supplied ring flood light cameras in new location. We are putting the master Lutron caseta switch in the attic and the pico remote by the back door. Also replacing all the outdoor outlets and bubble covers as customer was hit by a storm and it broke the GFCI device inside the garage controlling the garage door opener and the convenience outlet next to the AC condenser. Providing the Lutron Caseta Hub as a courtesy for the customer.
Replace a weather resistant gfci and bubble covers
We supplied and install a new $75,000 lifetime warranty surge protector and new flush mount kit at the main panel. We disconnected the RV circuit that was attached to a 2p50 amp breaker that is in the garage to attach the surge to (per customers request). I inspected the grounding system while on site today and got a reading of 79 ohms When we cut the drywall out to install the surge kit we noticed the feeder for the RV outlet which is right of the panel to be installed incorrectly. We a seal tight conduit leaving the leaving rv outlet and penetrating into the wall and individual conductors behind the drywall are not contained out of a conduit. I made the homeowner aware that this violates 300.3 (A) and 300.3 (B) and should be corrected for a proper installation.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Return visit to replace bad / failed condenser for Rheem unit ** verified capacitor well in range for compressor and operating pressures post repair today ** unit is cooling properly @ this time , as always thank you for choosing TE Certified **
Install (2) new AC breakers, replacing (2) 30a breakers with new 20a Eaton CH breakers. Troubleshoot open ground on two outlets in the basement. Install new 3 way toggle dimmer switch in dining room. Vacuumed out debris from panel as courtesy during this visit.
Customer provided us with a American standard 12” rough in toilet because the old one had clog issues, after installing the toilet the toilet is working normally with no leaks or backups present , I had to shim the toilet because where the floor was uneven from the tile ripping up, made the toilet rock after shim in the toilet the toilet doesn’t rock anymore. I let the customer know that replacing the tile for the floor is recommended to keep the toilet balanced. The flange as well was a little shaky, but after shimming, the toilet is sealed and placed properly.
Added outlet for cameras
Performed two system maintenance main unit is short on CFM for return has 960/1200. Supply is missing 150 cfm. Unit missing wet switch. Low on pressures. Downstairs unit everything looks fine at the moment just missing a wet switch. Homeowner decided to add two lbs of refrigerant to main unit.
No cool. Upon arrival found breaker tripped, flipped breaker and system would not stay on for longer than 10 seconds. In rush compressor amps were at 30 amps, compressor terminals reading at 70 ohms when checking to ground. Compressor is failed and should be replaced. Part is available at Lennox Alpharetta if customer chooses to move forward with work. Part is under warranty until October 27, 2031.
Client is hearing a knocking noise in the wall above the master bath shower which is the result of pipe expansion and contraction when hot water is running through it then is stopped. I assured client there is no leak in the wall. Client was also getting inconsistent hot water delivery to the same shower but the rest of the bathroom fixtures were working correctly. We replaced the shower cartridge and tested with no issues. Client checked the water temp as well and was satisfied the issue has been corrected.
Single system homecare ** 2024 Lennox R454B heat pump ** 2 zone single stage honeywell changed filter / added drainage flush out for future visits …verified system operations …flushed drainage …did address an immediate concern in regards to primary flood protection for drainage in attic / fresh air ventilation in attic and also verified unit operations after installing flood protection ** unit is operating at this time. … as always thank for choosing TE certified**
No cool service / UPSTAIRS Lennox R22 *** bad capacitor and overcharged / restricted hvac system ** no flood protection on drainage , client alluded to hvac water damage and refrigerant leaks , said she had someone add refrigerant in past ** compressor is loud after replacing capacitor , you see the fluctuations of Subcooling from 28-50 degrees and High side pressure ** with low superheat* , blower wheel is dirty , no indoor air quality *** Provided client with immediate option to get unit running / but unit needs to be replaced due to obvious defects and age concerns … Client opted to add flood protection to both hvac unit drainages and I added a drainage tee to both units ** replaced capacitor for upstairs TO GIVE CLIENT SOME COMFORT, did explain that this compressor is on it last leg …ultimately had the conversation respectfully as why unit replacement is necessary ** Provided a option to replace compressor and other estimates Client decided to do immediate repairs and get i
We did a troubleshoot for smoke detectors through out the home and let customer know there was one old smoke detector in first floor and basement, we replace a customer supply smoke detector at no warranty no further work was done but troubleshoot

Flushed customers tankless for approximately 30 minutes with vinegar, then and additional 5 minutes with water, pulled the inlet water filter and and cleaned debris out, purged out recirc line and made sure water was getting hot
Setup HomeCare plan today and applied membership pricing Compressor is overamping upon start up. Rated for 67LRA but upon start up hit 215LRA. Condenser coil could use a cleaning. Single stage zone setup without a bypass damper. Condensate pump should be in a drain pan and equipment lacks sufficient flood protection.
For this job we replaced two Gen 2 CH breakers, one breaker was for the master bedroom upstairs and the other was for the microwave. Pulled every outlet and switch out on the circuit and inspected the wire, found no issues. Replaced them with new dual function breakers.
For this job the HOA did not want the charger on the front side of the home. We pulled the wire back and shortened the PVC pipe and installed the charger on the right hand side on the corner of the house. Everything functions as it should.

The recirculation return line for this rinnai tankless is devoid of a check valve. This is not an issue when the recirculation pump is running, but whenever the pump turns off, the cold water rushes through the return line, thus not allowing for any hot water. I was able to test for this by running hot water in the master bathroom, and I found that the recirculation return line goes ice cold. Cut and removed section of pipe below recirculation pump, and added in a new 3/4” spring check valve. Ran water through drain down on recirculation return line and through cold water service valve to purge all air. Started pump and ensured it pumped properly. Ran hot water in master bathroom while pump was running. Confirmed presence of hot water in master. Waited for the recirculation cycle to finish. After recirculation had finished, ran water again in the master, and once again confirmed presence of hot water. Ran water in master bathroom, in multiple fixtures, at the same time, for approximat

Service visit
Responded to a no heat / no cooling service call for the second-floor zone. During arrival, the outdoor control board showed a low-pressure fault code. Refrigerant pressure switches were checked and both pressure switches tested functional. After resetting the control board, the system began operating again and the fault did not return during the visit. While testing components, several wear indicators were found that can lead to intermittent operation. • Contact surfaces on the electrical components show scorch marks. • Contactor pads show pitting and heat damage. • Compressor and condenser fan motor amp draws fall within acceptable range. • Customer mentioned the outdoor coil had been cleaned recently, though the rear section of the coil still holds debris buildup. • Indoor evaporator coil contains heavy debris on multiple sides. • Blower wheel contains debris buildup that restricts airflow. • Supply plenum contains several air leakage points. Current system age is about eig

First and only expert that told me I have a dual zone in the house and the reason for one side of the house always being cold was due to the fact that one zone was closed.
