Lifetime Workmanship Warranty for Heating & Cooling
TE Certified Heating & Cooling warrants that all installations be done in accordance with the local codes and be consistent with professional standards for the normal life of the installation. TE will correct any HVAC installation that does not meet that standard free of charge, subject to the limitations of this warranty. This heating & cooling warranty extends through the normal life of the installation.
10 Year Parts Warranty for Heating & Cooling
TE Certified Heating & Cooling warrants that all parts provided and installed by our employees be free of defects for 10 years and that we will provide a replacement part free of charge for any part found to be defective within the warranty period, subject to the conditions listed in this warranty.
10 Year Labor Limited Warranty for Heating & Cooling
TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling guarantees and agrees to cover the labor cost of replacing any defective part for one year after the installation. TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling also guarantees and agrees to cover the labor cost for replacing any defective part for up to ten years after the installation provided that the homeowner maintains a maintenance agreement with TE Certified Electricians continuously during the extended warranty period. This extended warranty shall be void with any lapse in maintenance or the maintenance agreement or if the equipment should be serviced or repaired by any third party not authorized by TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling during the warranty period.
Non-Durable Replaceable Parts for Heating & Cooling
Non-Durable Replaceable Parts are parts that have a limited life expectancy and are designed to be replaced. These types of parts are specifically excluded from this warranty and are not covered by TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling provided the parts were installed in a workmanlike manner. These types of parts include, but are not limited to filters, batteries, capacitors, fuses, and humidifier pads.
Drain Line Warranty
TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling guarantees the proper installation of drain lines and pumps by its technician under the workmanship and labor warranty for heating & cooling provided the homeowner maintains a maintenance agreement with TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling and has an overflow safety shutoff switch installed on the unit. TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling does not guarantee against clogs from insects, rodents, debris, inclement weather, abuse, or acts of nature. Proper drain maintenance is critical to keeping condensate drain lines clear and is included in the annual maintenance agreement.
General Conditions and Exclusions for Heating & Cooling Warranty
This warranty extends only to parts and labor provided by TE Certified Heating & Cooling. Parts provided by others or installations done by others are expressly excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover items damaged by acts of nature (including rodents, pets, or insects), misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance. This warranty is limited to only those items installed or provided by TE Certified Heating & Cooling.
Remedies for warranty claims are limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged part or faulty installation at the company’s discretion. This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs, diagnosis, or installation by others unless authorized in writing by TE Certified Heating & Cooling. This warranty does not apply to installations or parts for which TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling has not received payment. Failure to pay for a service or installation voids any and all warranty coverage offered by TE Certified Heating & Cooling. No warranty coverage is extended to pro gratis or courtesy repairs.
This warranty is transferable to a subsequent homeowner of the original installation address provided TE Certified Electricians, Heating & Cooling is notified in writing within 30 days of the sale of the property and the subsequent homeowners agree to and follow the terms of the warranty.
